They had dinner that night together with Clyde's parents as they talked about the upcoming wedding day.

"Is it at the church? Or a beach wedding?" Mr. Smith asked.

Clyde then looked at Yvette.

"I think I'm going to like the church," Yvette said, looking at Clyde, who nodded as well.

"And where? Here in Paris? Or in New York?"

"We both like to try it here first in Paris, then we could set another one in New York," Clyde answered.

"Oh wow. That's actually a nice idea. With different themes. It would be cute." Maybe before the baby comes out, and then after, so my grandchild would be there at the second wedding. It's a good transition, actually," Mrs. Smith said, smiling from ear to ear.

Yvette might now shout how excited she was, but deep down, she was really looking forward to it. It was an unexpected plot twist happening in her life; she didn't plan on getting married knowing how independent she was, as she knew to herself she didn't want a man in her life.
