Chapter 7: Business Date

In the morning at Fierro Resorts.

"I've completed the paperwork you requested, Gideon. And there has been an update for tonight's dinner with Ms. Taylor, she wants to meet you tonight at eight o’clock." Freya said as she dropped the papers one by one on Gideon's desk.

While Gideon was dumbfounded by the sight of the floor.

"Gideon, are you even listening to me?" Freya asked again.

"Yeah, just leave it on my desk, Freya. I'm just thinking a lot today," he replied coldly, his gaze still fixed on the floor.

Freya sighed and rolled her eyes. She gave a nod. "Where were you last night?"

Gideon looked at Freya because of her sudden question. “Somewhere. Why did you ask?"

"Well, I came to the verdict that what you're thinking has something to do with it; you're losing focus, Gideon."

Gideon looked at the papers on his desk. He sighed. "Call Uncle Sam, I need an update as an Enterprise. Maybe I'll go back there soon, I see the rating here at the Resort is at 5.8 percent so we'll just catch up
