"Bye!" I waved back to them.

Ngumisi si Janine habang hinihila na siya paalis ni Willa sa room. Sabi kasi nila, may pupuntahan sila sa kabilang bayan. Pista raw doon.

They actually invited me, almost adamant to make me come with them but unfortunately, I got no time for that kind of stuff.

In a span of one week, they managed to understand my situation. I always told them that my guardian was strict so I needed to get home immediately after classes.

It's partly true tho. Iyon naman talaga lagi ang bilin sa akin ni Nana at wala akong balak na suwayin iyon. Letting me go outside the Castellano premises and study was already a huge debt of gratitude. The least I could do was to conform to their restrictions and be compliant to their biddings.
