Chapter Six

For almost an hour Celestine did nothing but cry. Her eyesight was dimming and she was having a hard time opening it because it's swollen. She wants to hurt herself for being stupid because she must admit that she expected Vincent to treat her better now. After all, he saved her from Alice but she was wrong. She was a fool to believe that evil can change, she learned her lessons and it will never happen again.

She had to remind herself that Vincent was her enemy, as well as his men and not her ally. 

Vladimir looked in the rearview mirror of the car so he could see Celestine in the backseat. The woman's eyes are red and so was her nose. She's peering outside the car window and still a bit shocked at what happened because she doesn't seem to be in her senses. 

He starts the car engine. 

"Where will we go?" Celestine asked weakly but Vladimir acted like he doesn't hear a thing and did not answer her question.
