Chapter Six
For almost an hour Celestine did nothing but cry. Her eyesight was dimming and she was having a hard time opening it because it's swollen. She wants to hurt herself for being stupid because she must admit that she expected Vincent to treat her better now. After all, he saved her from Alice but she was wrong. She was a fool to believe that evil can change, she learned her lessons and it will never happen again.
She had to remind herself that Vincent was her enemy, as well as his men and not her ally.
Vladimir looked in the rearview mirror of the car so he could see Celestine in the backseat. The woman's eyes are red and so was her nose. She's peering outside the car window and still a bit shocked at what happened because she doesn't seem to be in her senses.

Abigail hurried to the room where Mr. Stevenson was confined. It was a miracle that only a few hours after taking the old man to the emergency room he immediately regained consciousness. The old man sustained many injuries but luckily, only minor injuries which may have caused him to get back to his consciousness immediately. When Abigail entered the room she saw the old man trying to slowly open his eyes. She approached the old man and immediately checked his condition. After making sure that the old man was well, the doctor tried to talk to him. "Mr. Stevenson, can you speak? Can you hear me?" The old man slowly nodded which caused Abigail to smile. "Myla," she called the nurse. "Yes, Doctor Abigail?" "The patient is fine now. He just needs to rest, and wait for his wounds to heal. Later, when he regained his strength ask him to move his legs.
