Chapter 5

When I finally woke up, I saw it was already midnight. Shoot! There was nothing stopping Brian from killing me this time around. I was totally dead. How did I sleep in such forgetful manner? This was just so crazy and I am sure Brian would never forgive me.

As I made to leave in order to get home maybe Brian could spare my life. Ceaser came forward and held her close and told her not to go anywhere. Brian then called, Ceaser swore that Kate would never come up and this made Brian very furious and he left the house in a mad state of fury with his shotgun.

By this time, Kate was already full of tears saying Brian was going to surely murder her in cold blood. Ceaser comforted her as he did not like seeing her in pain and promised and assured her that he was going to protect her. Kate was puzzled and wondered why Ceaser was doing all these and showing the amazing amount of love to someone whom he just met in such a short period of time. Ceaser then told her that it was normal to do it for someone who was his mate and whom he was truly in love with.

Kate! we are soulmates and I would do anything to protect you. Damn! I could catch a grenade for you, throw my hands on a blade for you and jump in front of a train for you. I would do anything for you. I am really in love with you, you are my better half and you have become a part of me, so there is no way I would allow any evil come upon you not even the moon goddess wanted it. I know it might sound unreal but this is the truth and I want you to know I will always be here for you. I would bring a smile back to your face and I would fulfil all your needs, you are my Queen and you must be treated as such Bambino(Meaning baby in Italy) I will handle Brian , Lucas knew about everything and he is also a werewolf and he wants me to protect you .You have the support of my pack members and anyone who dares to go against you is asking for their doom and downfall. I love you so much Katherine Jones , you are the future Luna of my pack.

I was so overwhelmed with Ceaser's word, that I threw myself on him and gave him a hug. Suddenly,  We heard the sound of a gunshot and it was then my fears came to life knowing fully well that Brian had located us seeing as it was the most popular bar. Ceaser pecked my forehead and went out to fight against Brian. He instructed me to stay inside and not to come out until he dealt with Brian and frankly, I was tired and so scared. But he assured me that everything was going to be okay.

 Listen, I don't want to do anything with you, I just need that little bitch up there who thinks she could defy me and go against my orders. Brian said looking a little bit scared.

What did you just call her, that is my mate you are talking to you monster, but by that time, Ceaser had mind linked his Beta about Brian and how dangerous he was as a person.

 They got into a fight and Brian was obviously not a match for Ceaser. It was very bloody and brutal but before Ceaser could give him a final blow, Brian shot him unfortunately. But the beta and some of the wolves had arrived to take down Brian and he was sent to the pack dungeon. Kate rushed out at the sound of the gun shot because she was so scared and by the time she saw that it was Ceaser that had been shot , she began to cry hysterically but luckily the pack doctor came around and he treated Ceaser.

She was so scared and prayed to God to restore him back completely. She stayed by his side throughout the whole period while he was unconscious and sedated. Ceaser finally regained consciousness and saw Kate tear stained eyes which made him sad.

Hey my love! Ceaser , Oh Dear Lord! you are awake , I am so happy and glad Kate said hugging him. Oh well, I can see someone missed me and this is what it will take for you to show me some affection, then I am willing to have more injuries.

That is not funny you know. I was so scared, but thank God you are okay. How do you feel? I feel some what drowsy and weak, Ceaser responded.

Don't worry ,you will be fine.Suddenly, the pack doctor entered. Alpha! thank God you are awake , I will check you. After checking him, the pack doctor said, you are free to go just make sure not to stress yourself too much.

Your beta came and said he would handle things for you. Just take good care of yourself and please Luna, do not allow him stress himself too much. I have written the prescriptions, luckily the bullet was not too deep.

   Katherine Jones what would make me feel better is if you finally come and stay with me. I will always take care of you and I promise to be there for you.

Ceaser! I like you so much and I am willing to come. Take me with you, you now have my heart. Kate realized that Ceaser truly loved her and she was willing to go anywhere with him.

Ceaser was so happy and took her back to his pack and swore to always be by her side.

Well, that was just the tip of the troubles yet to come.
