Prologue

"Find him! Don't let that bastard escape!" A loud shout rang out inside an abandoned building.

Clever knocked down an opponent one by one but he was too complacent. His enemies seemed endless while he only had himself.

He quickly hid in an alley while holding onto his bleeding abdomen, annoyed of the thought that he was ambushed by one of his enemy's group. If only they were few, he would be able to fight but they were too many for one man.

Footsteps approaching, he immediately changed his form, a wolf. Pains in his side abdomen reminded him that he should not suddenly change. 

Composed moaning lingered in the alley.

The sound of footsteps stopped near where he was hiding. What Clever saw before he passed out was a slim silhouette.

What he felt was a gentle touch from the shadow.

And a soft word.

"Hey, poor cutie."
