Raina had been so engrossed in thoughts that she never knew Jasper was following her. It was only when he ran past her to the scene where Carly was being abused that she knew he was following her. Jasper was already taking the lead in the fight, beating the other guy up seriously. Raina rushed to Carly and hugged her, she recognized the guy as one of her ex boyfriends. She only wonders why he is here to abuse Carly. "Jasper that's enough! You're going to kill him!" Carly yelled seeing the way Jasper was beating the other guy up. "No let him beat the life out of him for hurting you. I'm going to make his sorry ass die in jail." Raina gritted her teeth. A group of policemen suddenly came and separated them. The other guy's face was already disfigured by Jasper. "Hey let him go! This man started it!" Carly yelled at the officers. "I'm sorry Miss but both of them have to come with us. Someone called the police to inform us about this." One of the officers said. Raina looked around
"I'll leave now. Good night." Jasper said leaving. He was stopped by a statement Raina made. "You can sleep in the other room." She said. He turned a bit taken aback. He never expected Raina would offer him a place in the house. After all, he had been in the car all day. "That's the room, we are leaving by evening tomorrow. I'll be in my room if you need to talk to me. Good night." She sounded rather calm than grumpy this time around which made him wonder what changed her mind. She walked up the short stairs, he stared at her till she disappeared from sight. Then he went into the room Raina suggested. It was well furnished and good. He checked the bathroom and saw the shower worked well. He decided to take a shower and finally have a good night sleep. He fell lazily on the bed after taking a shower. He decided to call his mom since he hadn't talked to her all day. "You finally remembered your mother." Was the first thing she said after picking up the call. He sighed, "It's not
Raina turned to Jasper with tears in her eyes. She laughed hysterically and stopped. "Who's Richard? He's no one. You shouldn't talk about him anymore." She replied staggering away. "He must have been very important to you. Since he can bring out this side of you." Jasper said. She turned to him with a frown. "I said stop talking about him!!!" She yelled loudly pushing the table beside the couch away, causing it to crash due to how hard she pushed it. Her chest was rising up and down. She found it difficult to breathe. Jasper tried to hold her. "Calm down, you're having an attack." He tried to help her. She slapped his hands off again, but he didn't stop. She tried to get away from his grip forcefully. "Let me go you jerk! Don't you dare touch me!" She yelled. "Don't touch me! Don't pull off my clothes. You're only going to take advantage of me!" She cried more still struggling to free herself. Jasper looked around for her drugs but found none. There's no way a patient with
Raina surprisingly got off work earlier than expected. Jasper was quite tired considering he hasn't taken a good rest for the past few days. Working for Raina Williams is exhausting, no wonder most of her drivers quit in the past. "Where do we go Miss Williams?" Jasper purposely asked her. He wanted to strike a conversation with her because he felt bored not talking to her. "We're going to pick up your stuff from your place, or have you forgotten so soon?" She replied with a question. "As you wish, boss." He started the car and drove into the road. He drove to his house and stopped there. Raina saw how small his house is compared to hers. The neighborhood also looked very average, not like the estate she lived in. "Give me a few minutes to talk to my mom. I'll be right back." He said to her. She only replied with a nod without saying anything. "Thanks." He got down from the car and headed inside the house. He met his sister right after he closed the door behind him. Miranda a
Bella sat down at the coffee shop waiting for her friend Jessa. She had contacted her friend who just came back from France due to her boredom. Sure she had work to do, but that doesn't count if she can't be with Jasper. He was everything that matters, she was deeply in love with him. The fact that Raina Williams might take her place scared her a lot. She finally saw Jessa walk into the coffee shop. She got up to welcome her friend with a hug. "Jessa!" She called hugging her friend. "Isabella! It's so good to see you." Jessa called her full name in a french accent, hugging her back. They have been best friends right from childhood. Seeing each other now brought back a lot of childhood memories, some which they would never forget even if they were children. They squealed excited, getting the attention of the other people there. They understood they must be long lost friends from the way they held each other. They both took a seat opposite each other and ordered the same drink. "Da
Jasper got back from dropping Jessa off, he felt so mad that Raina asked him to drop that woman off. She didn't stop talking to him throughout, she kept asking weird and uncomfortable questions. She is such a blunt woman that is not afraid of hiding her feelings, that makes him more worried. She is not his type of woman. "President Raina wants your attention at the office." Kelvin said glaring at him. Jasper rolled his eyes. He is already used to Kelvin's hate by now. He walked to Raina's office, she didn't acknowledge his presence as usual. He has to clear his throat for her to look up, even though she is aware that he is in the office. "Did you drop her at home?" She asked facing her table. "Yes Miss Williams." He replied bluntly. Raina waited for him to say something else, he did not say anything. She was a bit curious to know what they talked about. She has been restless since she asked him to drop Jessa off. Jasper is angry, but he decided to keep his anger to himself. "Is
"I am not aware Miss Williams said that. She's right though, my privacy is important." Jasper replied. Jessa nodded in understanding, "I understand, now please put it here."She stretched her phone towards him, he collected it and dialled his number. He gave the phone back to her, she has a satisfactory smile on her face. Jasper sighed in frustration, he knows he just added to his list of headaches. "I'll be going now. I'm going to call you later." Jessa said. "Yes, later Jessa." He said happy she is leaving. Jessa unexpectedly kissed his cheek before walking away. Jasper is shocked that this woman can be so straightforward and fearless. He looked around hoping no one saw that. Raina came down thirty minutes later, she doesn't have a smile on her face like always. Jasper is getting used to seeing this grumpy side of her, if she smiled on day then he would probably disappear fast. "Where are we going to now?" He asked her before starting the car. "Take me to the company, where el
Jasper stared at her in shock, she's taking this too personal. He wondered what Kelvin told her for her to be this angry. It can't possibly be because he went out for lunch. "You should calm down, yelling like this can raise your blood pressure. I am giving you an honest opinion. You should ask your doctor." He advised her. She walked straight to him, okay this is scary. She's going to kill him if he doesn't say anything. He stopped her from taking another step, sadly he doesn't raise his hand on girls. She might do something to him and he won't be able to do anything to her. "I went out with Miss Turner, you don't have to be so scary." He said. She frowned deeply, "I can't believe the nerves of that woman! She just had to come back just to have lunch with you. You should stop going out with her.""Huh? I don't understand. Why am I not allowed to go out with her? I am not a child and I know what I want. I'm supposed to make that decision for myself." He protested. "As long as you
