Chapter 3

August's POV

It was as if I had been dug in the stomach when the dizzying rotation stopped. What happened? Did a tornado hit us earlier? My gas is dizzying!

My eyes are still spinning but I can't stop paying attention to my surroundings. Wood, check. Land, check. But mountains and slopes? Where are the seesaws? Wait, this is not the playground anymore!

I turned around but I don't know the place or it was more correct to say, where am I? Where the hell am I?

"Wh-" I cut off hearing the clanking of irons again. Susme, aren't they finished yet?

But I was just surprised when the person in black suddenly grabbed my shoulder. I was so shocked and disgusted by its appearance that I immediately turned it down which caused the rest to stop killing each other.

I stomped on the one in black who shivered non-stop. "You ultra moronic creepy Halloween man, you're dead. Do you want me to give me a heart attack? Then I will give you a beating."

The black being is trying to escape but it could not. He thought he could escape. These are mine and no matter which circus they come from.

The clanking of swords continued until I was tired. He seems to have lost consciousness after I kicked him.

"Lucas! Let's finish this." The armored woman shouted.

"Sure!" Another man in armor answered.

One is silent. But in an instant, the other two in black immediately fell and seemed to be shaking.

I seem to be staring at them. They looked like knights in shining armor. But I wonder who they are and where we are.

"Wait, where am I?" I suddenly asked the three who turned to me.

The three approached me, but when they got closer, it seemed as if he was suddenly surprised. It looks like it saw a ghost.

"You...." said the woman who was beautiful in my eyes.

Me? does he know me, I don't know any weirds like them. Creepy.

"Excuse me? I was asking, where am I? And who are you?" I asked them again.

Confusion flooded their faces. Wondering and not knowing what to answer.

I was annoyed by their reactions. They are testing my patience. Just a little bit.

"Jesus, am I still on freaking earth? Why do people here, don't know how to speak?" I promise I'm pissed off. If I don't get an answer to these, I'll just walk to the highway to hire a bus.

"You're what?" The woman seemed to ask me a confused question.

It also speaks. But it seems like there is still some slowness. "I am asking you where the hell I am and what are these moronic beings?" I asked nervously. It's good to fight.

"You don't know? You're here at Veneesha." It was a surprising answer and I was groped.

Veenesha? Never heard of a place and where the hell is it even? Before I was just in the park, now I'm in a wasteland surrounded by wild mountains.

"What is that? Sitio? Barangay? City?" I will ask. You are gathering information on them.

"I don't know what you mean. But this is the Land of Veneesha, a country of Pandora." The woman answered again.

What? Land of Veenesha and a country of Pandora? Are they kidding me? "Wait, Pandora? We are on earth so stop trolling me." I promise. Are they mentally ill? Pandora, where is that?

They gasped in shock. They acted well. They are like professionals!

"You're human?" Shocked by the woman's confirmation.

Well, this girl is abnormal. "Why? Do I look like not?" I answered sarcastically.

"Capture her!" The woman immediately screamed and in an instant, like lightning, she grabbed my arm and arrested me. "Bring her to the court." It's a command.

Wait, wait! "Where are you taking me? Let me go you, shameless people! When I escape, you will pay me." It freezes if threatened.

Suddenly some horsemen came and all of them were also in armor.

"Lady Genieva, Lord Lucas. We have captured the traitors and killed the monsters." Said the man who is not far from my age with a very serious face.

"Good, we are going back with this." After saying this, they all looked at me and were surprised.

Now what? What is the problem with these people? Every time they see me they are surprised like they don't know. Do I know them or is there just a hidden camera around?

"You! Let me go! I'm going to sue you for kidnapping!" I threaten them.

But they were just surprised. "She is strange. Is she-"

"She's a human. A human." Genieva answered directly.

They were shocked and after a while, I realized that I was riding a horse going somewhere.

I want to cry. Earlier I was screaming and losing but they didn't let me go. They are treating me like their captive and there is a big sin. It's obvious that they're also annoyed because I'm making so much noise, but I don't care. I will only keep quiet if they let me go, otherwise nothing. I've beaten the piglet to death but nothing. That's right!

But I just noticed that we were heading towards a big building. It's like a courthouse but weirdly. It's not like the senate house. In the distance, I saw some guards also in armor and carrying spears.

When we were far away, the big gate there that was made of solid iron opened. There is something engraved there that I don't understand. We entered there and the courthouse greeted us.

They immediately took me off the horse but I didn't flinch. All I think about right now is where the hell I am and what is this Pandora thing they are talking about.

Two soldiers led me into the large courthouse. When we entered, I was exposed to a wide lobby-like area. Another door opened and we entered it there we found a five-year-old man sitting in the middle. Wearing very elegant classical clothes.

Everyone there bowed to the five men sitting there. I didn't bother anymore because I didn't know them but I was forcefully bowed because someone grabbed my neck and bent me down. Putek! Prepare the tax for me. The sun will not rise tomorrow!

"Rise." The man in the middle said weakly.

I immediately looked up and grabbed whoever's grass forced me to bow down. And there, I see Lucas. Yep, that's what he was called. I squinted my eyes at it. How dare he? I don't bow to anyone and this freaking asshole just grabbed my neck and made me bow! The heck. I just sent silent death stares. If it was fatal it would have been long gone by now.

"What are you doing here at the courthouse, Genieva, and Lucas?" Asked the man in the middle, moving his gaze between the two, and suddenly his gaze turned to me. I can't see any expression on his face, not even a little so I don't know what is going through his mind right now.

"Your majesty, we are here to announce that the enemy accidentally brought a mortal from Earth." Genieva immediately promised.

I immediately turned to Genieva. Did he just call the old man your majesty? What game is this?

The one they call the emperor is looking at me intently. "What is your identity?" This is a question.

I felt a little nervous. This person is somewhat intimidating. I swallowed before answering. "I am August..." I answered but it seemed like it was my full name. "August White."

Surprise and confusion appeared on the faces of my companions but there was no change in the emperor's face.

"And, I need to go home. Whatever this freakin' show is, I don't want to participate. Just let me go." I said straight away, there is no flaking yet.

Hari was still staring intently at me before he spoke. I thought he was a king because of the honorary use people used of him. "I am afraid you could not. There is no way to return to your world. Earth is the farthest galaxy from Pandora-"

"What?!" I asked in shock. Did I hear right? Farthest galaxy? Pandora? Earth? Am I in a freakin' alien world right now? "You gotta be kidding me right? You're just joking right?" I promise nervously. I am not sure if that was a question or a statement to make myself calm.

"We are afraid not." The King answered calmly. "This is the first time a human was accidentally dragged here. But since enemies brought you, you will be put through observation and process. You can leave now."

And in an instant, my hand was suddenly tied, which surprised me. Suddenly I was pulled out.

"Wait, where are you taking me? Take me back to my world! Aliens!" I was furious but my protesting did nothing.

I want to get lost. How can I not lose, I was just taken to prison! Do they consider me a criminal? They are indeed kidnappers and I am considered a criminal! Jusko, where is the justice here?

"You freaking aliens. Get me out of here you damn alien!" It's like my tendons want to burst with so much anger. I'm not guilty. I'm just a victim and I'm still doing this.

I want to cry but I just stop myself.

Just a moment ago, I was eating a lavish buffet. Now I'm in jail. I feel like I'm going to be hanged. It's been a while since my last supper. If I had known, I would not have come. This is a punishment for my greediness.

To this day, the idea that I'm not on Earth and I'm on Pandora still seems like a big blast to me. I never believed in aliens but now yes I believe, but they are unfair people look at them.

I sat up on the bed. I just now felt the fatigue in my body. With all my screams and rebellion, I no longer wonder why my body feels heavy. I lie down gently and it's good that there is a pillow and a blanket there somehow.

I want to go home. Thinking about I am in another world makes me want to burst out crying. But I'm holding back. I am not weak and I promised not to cry.

"I want to go home," I said and closed my eyes and prayed that everything was just a dream and when I woke up everything was normal.
