Acceptance Of Fate

The second day of our search was still no luck. We haven't found anyone yet. How can we find the princess if we can't even find a single human being who are still free from the aliens?

"Sis?" My eyes widened when I heard Adam's voice. I immediately looked back to him and ran towards him. I hugged him tightly like I just saw him after 10 years.

"Are you okay? Did the queen hurt you? Are you injured? Any bruises?" I scanned his body. There's a fear embedded in me and if I saw anything not normal in Adam's body, I would probably freak out or worse, lose consciousness.

"Sis, I'm fine. Don't worry about me." Adam said so I stared in his eyes. He doesn't seem to be lying. Did he found himself comfortable with the Queen? Is she spoiling my brother?

"Why are you gaining weight, Adam?" I noticed he's getting a little fat. His cheeks became chubby so I pinched them.
