Meeting The Aliens

I slowly opened my eyes when I felt my stomach grumbling. I looked to my side and there I saw Adam laying down beside me, still fast asleep. I can't help but feel soften as I stare at him who's so innocent. Although sometimes he might be annoying, after all, he is my brother and anyone would still look at their family with love no matter how stubborn they could be. I looked around and noticed that the surrounding's getting darker. Was it already night time? I never thought I'd fall asleep for a longer time during day time. I'm not even the type to sleep during the day, that was, when I started to grow up.

I rubbed my hands against my stomach. I'm hungry I wanted to look for some food to eat. Probably my brother would feel hungry too the moment he wakes up so I should prepare food for the both of us.

I noticed the tears on my face were dry. It was because I kept on crying until I fell asleep. I remembered the moment earlier and how mom sacrificed herself for us. Now that I remembered it again, I felt like my tears are gonna escape from my eyes again. I held unto my chest to compose myself. I need to be strong now that I am whom Adam will rely on. And I am now supposed to rely on myself as well. 

I made sure the area is clear before I went out from our hidden place. I shouldn't let those aliens see me. I honestly didn't saw them and I haven't seen them but I can feel their strong presence above me that time. I knew that moment that they were aliens.

The cold breeze touched my skin the moment I got out so I hugged myself. I heard nothing. It's so quiet like everyone and everything were wiped out in just a twinkle of an eye. I don't hear even a single insect. The silence is killing me. Did I just hear whispers in my ear or is it just the wind? I looked behind me when I felt like someone's following me. I heard footsteps but there's nothing there. I'm starting to get insane.

I went back to where I last saw mom. To where we left our things. Maybe they're still there. There are foods there and the things we needed. Maybe I can also find mom there. Maybe she's just unconscious and she wants our help. Maybe we can still save her and we can still be together. That's what I hoped. The more steps I take, the nearer I get to the place. And the nearer I get, the faster my heart beats. There is hope and excitement within me. The hope that I can still get to see my mom and the excitement to hug her tight like there's no tomorrow.

I immediately hid myself behind a structure when I heard something. Slowly, I peaked to see what's there. My eyes widened when I saw someone opening the bags we left. She looked so desperate to look what's inside. Just like me, she's hungry. She's turning her back against me so I couldn't see her face. But just by looking at her back, I knew she's not my mom. She has short hair, she's wearing a loose white shirt, a wide leg jeans and sandals. Could she be an alien? Should I just let her take our food? Should I show myself to her? 

I sighed in disbelief. I shouldn't trust anyone yet. She could be an alien who disguise herself as a human to lure people out. I was about to leave when I accidentally stepped on something plastic which made a sound more than enough for her to hear. I gasped and covered my mouth. What did I just do?

"W-w-who's there?" The lady spoke, her voice shaking. I remained myself hidden behind the structure. I found myself trembling in fear when I heard footsteps coming towards my direction. I wanted to scream for help but I realized if I scream, I will lure more aliens here and it will be my end. What should I do?

"I know someone is there. Show yourself." The lady spoke with conviction now. Her voice seems angelic. You wouldn't fear her just by her voice. You might even fall inlove with her instead.

I sighed in defeat. I guess there's no hiding now. I looked down and showed myself to her as I raised my hands in defeat.

"So I'm not the only survivor?" The lady asked so I looked up to face her. My eyes widened when I saw her face. She has fair skin, a round face, deep set eye shape, blue eyes, perfectly drawn eyebrows and a pinkish lips. She looks so young and angelic. She doesn't seem older nor younger than me, she looks mature in her stance and poise but young in appearance. She could be in the same age as me. 

"Survivor?" I asked her.

"Didn't you know? There is an alien invasion. The aliens are taking humans and all living things on Earth. They made them disappear. I don't know what they did to them." She calmly explained.

"Are they going to destroy Earth as well?" 

"I don't know. If they are really planning to destroy our planet, they should've done so the moment they arrived here. I think they wanted to rule the Earth." 

I formed my hands into fists. I told her that my mom was taken by these aliens and that I am mad at these creatures. She also told me that her parents were also taken by them and that she is now alone. The only difference is, she saw it with her own eyes, how aliens took her parents.

"My name's Aries. You are?" She extended her hand for a handshake.

"Princess." We shook hands.

"Princess, huh? Your name's beautiful." She smiled which I found weird. Aries is even more beautiful though. Now that I think of it, I think I have heard about her name somewhere. Why does this lady seem familiar to me? 

We talked a while longer. I told Aries that I have a brother who's waiting for me in our hidden place. I even invited her to go with us but she chose not to. She told me she wanted to find those aliens and bring back her parents. It was so brave of her. I don't even have the courage to do it. But because of her, I gained a little courage to do it as well. I wanted to find my mom and save her. I don't know what those aliens did to everyone. They could've already killed them, but I always kept a positive thought. My mom is still alive. I know she is. And I'm going to find her.

"We could save our parents together." I bravely told her. Her eyes widened in surprise.

"That's actually perfect-" She wasn't able to continue when we felt a sudden quake. What's going on?

"Princess, I think the aliens are here." Aries whispered which made me gulp. Finally, I can be able to see what aliens look like. Do they look like scary monsters? With their heads bigger than their bodies? Eyes bigger than their mouth and nose? Could their skin be colored green or blue? Could they be taller than humans?

"Aries, I need to go to my brother. Are you coming with me?" I asked her. 

"No, Princess. I'll just stay here and hide. The aliens might see us if we both go. Go to your brother. I'll be waiting for you here." She smiled a bit. 

I nodded at her and started to move. I didn't feel any presence at all. But the quake could be a sign that they are here. 

I stopped running when I felt another quake. I would hide behind structures to make sure no one would see me. But unlucky for me, I got caught. Just when I was about to continue running, I felt a strong presence behind me. Without even turning to see it, I can feel how scary its aura is. It is so intimidating. I'm too scared to face it. I imagined it to be bigger and taller than me, like the Hulk of Marvel, even like KingKong, because of its very strong and big presence.

"I saw another Earthling, my Prince."

"Take the human here."

I heard this alien talking to some sort of a prince through a medium. Just hearing their voices give chills to my body. They have baritone voices. They seem to speak like humans. What are these creatures?

I slowly turned my back to face the creature when I felt something that stung my neck, and everything turned black.

"Human, wake up!"

"Should we splash this Earthling with a cold water, my Prince?"

I immediately rose up from my lying down when I heard these aliens talk. Splash with a cold water? Heck no! Are they trying to kill me?

"She's awake."

My eyes widened when I saw the appearances of the two aliens infront of me. The other one is sitting in a throne, with a weird looking black sparkling crown on top of his head. He has white skin, his garments were sparkling, lots of golds, silver and bronzes, has sparkling earrings and necklaces, and has black sparkling boots. He seems to be the so-called Prince. He has a perfect handsome face with black eyeliner, blue eyes and a dark lipstick. 

Standing beside his throne is another alien, who's wearing a silver armor, with a sword on his side. He's wearing armor down his neck to his feet. His head only is free from armors. But this armor does not prevent him from moving freely. He can move freely as he wants. He is wearing one big sparkling earring on his right ear. He has also super white skin like the prince. A pale one. Like a vampire. He has green eyes and also has eyeliner and a dark lipstick. Is this how aliens look? They're like idols wearing make up. Even though they look like villains in movies, they are both handsome.

I shook my head to delete my thoughts. This isn't the time for that. I should ask them where they take me. 

I turned my gaze around and found out that I am in a good-looking place. Full of golds and sparkling things. Everything is too bright. Where am I?

"Hey, weird looking aliens! What is this place?! Why did you take me here?! Where is my brother?! Where did you take my mother?! Where is my friend?! What are you?!! Why are you invading our planet? Don't you have your own planet?! Youuuuuu are full of stupidity!!!" I shouted those words. A surprised look was shown on their faces. 

I gulped. Calm down, self. Calm down.

"She's noisy. K*ll her." The Prince coldly commanded the other alien.

Am I gonna die?
