Mona was shielding her severely damaged cheek. Antonio, shocked and dumbfounded, lurched away from her, but it didn't stop blood from gushing forth. She had tears in her eyes from the anguish.

Andres watched everything happen, remaining motionless. A storm was about to break out.

Instantaneously, Antonio collapsed to his knees, breathing heavily as though he had just finished a marathon. The temperature plunged violently.

His body shook as he stammered, "I..I.."

Caspian approached his mate and took her into his arms like a calm beast on the prowl.

Mona, who was in excruciating pain and knew that Caspian wanted to take care of her injuries before dealing with Antonio, who had committed the biggest mistake of his life, didn't want to wait and moved her hand to his pocket where she felt a gun and pulled it out.
