Chapter 52: Where the heart leads
Dahlia runs and hugs Tyler as soon as she sees him. The young Alpha catches her easily and hugs her tight. Inhaling her scent and smiling. Valens howls in his mind at having Nova so close.
"I missed you," she says. And she means it. Once she decided what future she wanted. What her heart wanted. She had wanted to just run to him, again.
"Missed you too," he smiles. "And not that I'm complaining, but what are you doing here?" He sets her back on her feet as he asks. He hadn't expected her to visit so soon. They both had to finish school and she'd already missed days.

Lia shuts off her alarm as she wakes up like she does every other day, but stops by her desk after getting dressed. There was a good sized box with a ribbon on her desk and a smaller one next to it. She opens the larger of the two and finds a new pair of shoes she had been telling her brother she wanted for training, but they had been a bit pricey and she was going to ask James about getting.
