The Alpha King's Chosen Sacrifice

My father was the Alpha of the Greyridge pack, so not a single soul in the entire pack dared to disobey him.

However, when compared to an Alpha King who had the most ancient and noble blood of the werewolves flowing through him, Dad's influence and power were insignificant.

Because of this, Dad's biggest dream had always been for one of his daughters to become the mate of a werewolf with such a superior bloodline, thereby bringing the Greyridge pack to glory.

In our first life, the Alpha King, Jayden Stolt, had been inspecting our pack when he said he had smelled his mate's scent.

Dad was overjoyed and immediately believed that it was my older sister, Jenna Thornton. She had been a beauty even when young, and her body exuded such a strong scent of roses that it could be smelled ten feet away. Not a single werewolf in our pack wasn't attracted to her.

Hence, Dad personally selected a bright, eye-catching red dress for her and sent her off on the carriage that would bring her to the palace. He was already imagining the day she would put on the Luna Crown and bring our pack to new heights.

However, when the carriage returned, it carried nothing but her corpse, the skull smashed to pieces.

What followed was a bloody massacre of the Greyridge pack as the Alpha King was furious at the deceit.

As we went through the second time loop, Dad turned his attention to our stepsister, Malia Thornton, who was prophesied to be able to give birth to the strongest werewolf. She had a flexible body that was curvy in all the right places, and she exuded a milky scent that screamed of her fertility.

"The Alpha King kept staring at your stomach when he was inspecting our territory the other day. You must be the one he wants to mark."

And so, Malia put on a sexy outfit that revealed her midriff before boarding the carriage to the Alpha King's palace.

Her fate was equally horrible, with the Alpha King tearing her belly open with his claws.

Once again, our pack was met with genocide.

The third time around, Dad knitted his brow tightly before looking at our stepmother, Vanessa Plink, who still retained her charms. She was an elegant woman who loved to cook, so a perpetual sweet, honey-like scent lingered around her, reminiscent of cookies fresh out of the oven.

"You personally prepared the Alpha King's dinner that night, and he couldn't stop praising the food. Seems like the mate he wants is you."

Thus, for the sake of our survival, Dad had no choice but to grit his teeth and send the dressed-up Vanessa to the palace.

She was ripped to pieces by the infuriated Alpha King.

The following time loops, Dad sent our female warriors, the female Omegas, even a low-ranking maid in charge of cleaning, yet they all died at the hands of the Alpha King.

I wasn't spared either.

Just like that, our entire pack was stuck in an endless time loop, dying, then sent back to the same time, only to live through it all again and again.

This time would mark the 100th attempt.

Staring at the carriage stopped by the gates, along with the Luna Crown the Alpha King's royal emissary had brought, Dad couldn't bring himself to smile anymore.

Their arrival wasn't bringing supreme honor or anything of the sort; they were practically the Grim Reaper's scythe come to reap souls!

The bloody memories of the previous 99 times had Dad's countenance going deathly pale. In a trembling voice, he asked the expressionless royal emissary, "Sir, could there be a mistake? We're just a small, low-ranking pack. How could anyone in our pack possibly be worthy of the Alpha King?"

The emissary swept a cold glance around before letting out a scoff. "The Alpha King has already stated clearly that his fated mate is in this pack. If you fail to hand her over within the hour, then prepare for your entire pack to be wiped out, down to every last pup."
