Hyacinth's POV Kael spooned me to sleep. When we got to the palace, he bathed me, cleaned me up and settled me in bed. He forced me to eat a little without saying anything really. His eyes were glowing like he was still mad about what happened. Of course, he's still mad. I felt safe in his arms, letting him pull me as close as he wanted to. I tried not to imagine what would have happened if he hadn't shown up when he did. I'd probably be dead, and a war would have most likely broken out. When I woke up, Kael was still in bed with me.
