I was pacing the floor of the hotel room, when my Guard Marcus mind-linked me that they were having trouble getting my mate.  Rage burned through my veins. I wanted to rip the throat out of goddamn Xander and let his limp body fall to the dirty ground where he belonged. My Wolf Arrax nodded his head in agreement.

"He won't let go easily ". Arrax sneered.  I nodded my head. " I know, the thought of her being a slave makes me want to kill him where he stands". I replied.  Arrax growled at the thought of his mate being a slave, no woman should endure such things.
