Chapter 10

Brinley.

I sat quietly in the back seat of a black SUV, where I was going was unclear. For some reason and I have no idea why, it felt right?. The two guards chatted back and forth and every so often they would glance in my direction.

I fell asleep off and on, as the drive to our destination was taken a while, I would often gaze out the window at the beautiful scenery before me. I've never been out of the kingdom before, but I'm glad I made the choice to move on from Xander. I will miss my friends and family. 

I couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that the moon-goddess has given me a third chance. My mother has always said you only ever get one Mate. What if my whole life was full of lies?. What if they only said that so we wouldn't run away and find our happiness?.  Now that makes sense.

I sure hope this place will treat me better, I know I deserve more in life then to be punished. Although t
