Aurora chapter one

GET UP! A harsh stinging sensation hits her back, she blinks her eyes, realizing she was being whipped she jumps up “Im sorry I over slept” she kneels and protects her face “get up and start breakfast for the pack!! They’re starving and SO AM I” his anger rages through his eyes. She doesn’t get off her knees till he leaves, she quickly rises and rushes to the pack kitchen, she begins cooking eggs and bacon and hash browns. She brings it to the pack dining room and places the food down, she doesn’t dare look at him…

Drake is the pack leader, he is tall and strong with blonde hair and baby blue eyes, he is the alpha and he has never been kind to Aurora he claims she is his mate in private but treats her worse than garbage. It has been like this her whole life, abused whipped and tortured for fun, left in a basement with a sheet as her only warmth. Her days spent serving the pack from dawn to dusk, never a break, never a day off.

The day ends and she cleans the rooms, she walks into the bathroom and stares at herself in the mirror, dirty and bruised “ I promise the day I turn 18 and get my wolf I am running away and never coming back here!” Just then Drake appears in the doorway “ running away little wolf!? I will have you chained to the floor before you could ever step foot outside of this territory. You are my property and you should do well to remember that always” his smirk as evil as his words, she knows he means it “now finish up, and get to the basement”. Aurora lets out a sigh finishing the last of the rooms and brings the garbage out, she turns to go inside and head down to the basement in two more days she will be 18 and she will leave this forsaken place.

Aurora goes to the basement tired and worn out, she opens her door to her dark dimly lit storage room where she sleeps, out of the darkness Drake emerges with that evil smirk he step towards her making her flinch, he grasps her chin with his hand making her look at him, his touch strong and intimidating, she stares into his blue eyes as he says “you know the day you turn 18 I’m taking what’s mine, all of you. You will never leave here this room your own personal hell and my pleasure.” He pushes her to the side and walks past her as he is walking away her smell engulfs his nostrils, his body tenses a low rumble escapes from deep in his chest..what he wouldn’t give to take her right now. His body aches for her, composing himself he walks back up the stairs slamming the door shut behind him.

Sitting by herself now she falls on to the old dirty mattress and pulls her sheet up to her face, “my own personal hell” she thinks to herself “ I have to leave.” Tears well up in her eyes she doesn’t know what she is going to do or where is going to go…but any where is going to be better than here “ this can’t be my life forever. I will never ever come back here.” She falls asleep a single tear making a trail of dirt erase from her face. Two more days.

The days and nights all mesh together. Today was different Aurora awoke just before sunrise, the night still filling the air, she felt different stronger realizing it was her birthday she was finally 18 and she has her WOLF. She starts gathering her things what little she has..she heads up the stairs and turns the doorknob “it’s locked! Drake must have locked it” she quietly goes back down the stairs, she laughs to herself because what Drake doesn’t know was she knew of another way to get out..she moves a shelf which reveals a tunnel, she closes the shelf behind her and starts running never looking back.
