Lucian and Aurora chapter 5

Rafe comes into his office, his eyes widen “ um I just got a phone call from the Sun-Moon packs beta” Lucian looks over “are they finally paying their dues?” … Rafe stares for at him “uh..um” he scratches his eyebrow “he called to say that Aurora is Drakes mate, and she had run away on her 18th birthday and they want a meeting to get her back..and that you cannot deny a mate-bond”. Knowing the weight of his words he stares at Lucian “mate bond!” A deep guttural growl leaves his body “Drake is the one who did this to her, he thinks he has claim to MY MATE?” Rafe stares “Make the meeting 5 days from now, she will bear my mark he will be invited to watch” Rafe looks at him “I will make the meeting, but I think you should talk to Aurora about him showing up and why.” Lucian nods in agreement “Have Sage start preparing for the marking ceremony, I will talk to my mate” Rafe nods and walks out.

Aurora lays in HER bed for the first time in her life, comfort and safety. She smells his intoxicating scent before he even knocks, “come in” she sits up he enters his tall masculine body fills the room, he walks over to her for the first time he sees her real beauty no dirt or bruises on her face just pure white skin that matches her ice blue eyes, she is like the winter, her jet black hair makes everything seem so much more elegant, her voice is soft and gentle, he brushes a strand of hair away from her face staring into her eyes like the last 100 centuries this was all he was waiting for, that everything he has built has been centered around her presence. “We received a call today from the sun-moon packs beta”. She grabs his arm tight, her eyes widen with fear, it was exactly what he thought they were the ones who hurt her. “Don’t worry you are never going back there, you are forever mine” he holds her hand and kisses her forehead “being mine grants you the protection of every pack member in this kingdom, in 5 days I will mark you under the full moon, letting the entire kingdom know you are mine, no one will dare touch you again” she looks at him her inner wolf is dancing with glee “ I feel this is exactly where I need to be and want to be, I feel a incredible bond to you already” he smiles “marking you will Make it that much deeper my Luna” he has so much more planned for her. “Rest my Luna, I will take care of everything” she stares at him her insides melting into lava, he smells her want, “don’t worry my queen soon enough, he leans in and brushes his lips onto hers grabbing the back of her neck he pulls her in for a deep kiss, it takes everything in him to pull away, his face red with need. “The things I will do to you soon you will be all over mine” he kisses her forehead and goes to leave whe she says “um, where’s the kitchen I’m kinda really hungry” in a swift motion he picks her up, and carries her to the kitchen.

Aurora sits at the kitchen bar as a chef whips up a nice venison steak and fries, “here my queen” he lays the plate before her, she smiles “you can call my Aurora please” her voice soft and sweet the chef smiles and nods. She looks at the plate, she’s never ate more than toast with butter or someone’s left overs..she starts eating the steak her mouth waters with pure enjoyment her tastebuds dance in her mouth “Soooo good!” She eats like someone is going to steal her meal , Lucian watches happy that she is over the moon, knowing she will never not have a good meal again. “Slow down my Luna you will get a stomach ache” she realizes what she looked her white cheeks turn red with embarrassment “oh sorry!” She wipes her mouth “it’s ok my queen, you will never go hungry again”. Lucian stands “I have some buisness to take care of, feel free to explore, just don’t go into the woods without me or rafe by your side.” He leans over and kisses her stealing a French fry and walking away.

Aurora finishes her meal and puts her plate in the sink, she begins washing it when a lady pops out of the corner “no my queen, that is my job please go enjoy your day” aurora smiles “please call me Aurora” the maid nods. Aurora thanks her and leave the kitchen stepping outside looking around at the vast land and all the buildings, all from different centuries. Sage runs up and gives her a big hug “I’m so glad to see you out and about, let me walk with you”. She smiles “did Lucian ask you to walk with me l” she nodding “eh yeah,” she laughs “he just wants you safe, we all do”, Aurora says “it’s the first time, I have felt secure and loved like really loved” Sage turns to her grabbing her hand “you are Lucian’s mate and he will love you till the ends of the earth, Rafe and I met hundred years ago, it was instant his smell his touch just everything made me come undone” Aurora listening to her words knowing it’s exactly that’s what she is feeling “it’s the strangest most amazing thing, he told me today the sun moon pack called” she glances at Sage “yes Rafe told me, I’m sorry for what they have done to you…but they won’t ever have the chance again. Lucian will rip them apart” she says it laughing “he done worse to people better than their alpha, for you he will burn the world down “ Aurora smiles the words meaningful to her “so let’s show you where the marking ceremony will be, I also picked out this beautiful white dress for you! It’s so nice to have another girl around these boys have no taste” they laugh and continue walking.
