Chapter 199

As I lay in my bed, I couldn't help but feel a sense of anxiety and worry. It had been weeks since Nikau went missing, and despite our best efforts, we had yet to find any clues as to his whereabouts.

But as I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep, I couldn't help but hope that maybe, just maybe, I would be able to see him again.

And as if my wish had been granted, I found myself in a dark and dreary room, surrounded by nothing but shadows and emptiness. But as I looked closer, I saw a faint glimmer of light in the distance.

I followed the light, and as I grew closer, I saw that it was coming from a small cage in the corner of the room. My heart raced as I realized that someone was locked inside.

I rushed to the cage, and as I got closer, I saw that it was Nikau. He was unconscious and unresponsive, his body limp and lifeless.

Tears sprang to my eyes as I realized the extent of his injuries. He had been beaten and battered, his once handsome face now a mess of bruises and cuts.
