“What are you talking about Stacy? Tell me that's not true. Please tell me you are lying. “

“I'm so sorry Rebecca. I knew I shouldn’t have hidden the truth from you but I only ended up remembering it when you asked me about werewolves last time.”

“Do you think a werewolf killed them?” I asked.

“I'm not sure dear. But I can tell you this. No one in our extended family would be willing to give you information. I already asked around back when I was sixteen but they all silenced me.”

“Why?”

“They said that with the death of our parents, the monsters must have attained peace. That the curse has been lifted and it's best if we don't dwell deeper into the matter.”

“Yes, Rebecca. And I’d tell you the same again. Your dreams are not true. Don't take them seriously. You're only going to damage yourself.”
