Chapter Fifteen

Serena’s POV

I don’t know why I thought I would be safe being turned from a witch to a vampire and then having a wolf mate turn me again. Time is not on my side and while I age slower than the rest, I have grown weary of these games of men. I wish that Selene had told me these things when my mate and I approached her to be turned into a wolf. She knew what the future held and as my half-sister she shouldn’t have told me. I deserved to know. Not find out blindly like the rest.

“Serena, Serena, tsk-tsk, you know better than to try to think I can’t hear your thoughts, sister.” Selene says as her ethereal light warms the room before she appears.
