2022-02-02 09:18:54“Are you hiding?” a deep rumbly voice from behind me sounded and I squealed and whirled around to see Echo looking down at me with a smirk from where I sat behind the small pool shed, relaxing in a patch of nice shade. He laughed and sat down beside me, laying back on the grass with his hands behind his head. I shrugged and lay down with him, using his stomach as a pillow.
“Kinda,” I admitted with a sheepish shrug as I looked up at the clouds moving through the sky, the trees waving in the wind and taking a deep breath of the crisp cool air. “I know it’s ridiculous and childish, but I’m just a little...overwhelmed. Kane and Magnus are everywhere and every time I turn around one of them is there and I’m just not sure how to act around either of them right now.”

I woke in the morning feeling warm and secure, two sets of arms wrapped snugly around me with Kane’s face in my neck and Magnus’s in my hair. That couldn’t be comfortable. I sighed in contentment and basked in the feel of being wrapped up in my mates before slowly and carefully sneaking out of the bed. I walked into the suite and found my men lounging on the couch in a very relaxed and domesticated manner. Kane was just in sweats and he sat in the corner of the sectional going over a few papers from a folder, a small frown of concentration on his face. Magnus was just in his soft black lounge pants and was on the recliner part of the sectional with a book in his hand and a cup of tea beside him on the coffee table. I smiled fondly before I made my way into the bedroom to change into something more comfortable. I stripped out of the pants and set them aside before finding a pair of lavender athletic short shorts and slipped them on, deciding to keep my crop long sleeved shirt on and instead just took off my bra, sighing in relief as the contraption was gone. Confining uncomfortable piece of fabric torture but necessary all the same. I sat with Mira in the silence of my office until a young girl who worked in the kitchen knocked on the door and came in with a cart that had tea and snacks for us. I thanked her as she set up everything on the coffee table before leaving the room. I walked into the bedroom and stripped out of my clothes, smiling to myself as I could hear them getting closer. I went into the shower and turned the water on hot, stepping in and letting it soothe my skin. I felt it the moment they entered the bathroom, the atmosphere shifting to something carnal and heavy. I turned to face them as I stayed under one of the shower heads in this huge walk-in glass shower, running my hands through my hair as I watched them stalk towards me naked and ready. I stirred in the morning and sighed as I felt the warm body pressed to my back and smiled as I was enveloped in the combined scents of Kane and Magnus. Feeling only one body in bed with me had me opening my eyes and seeing Kane’s side of the bed empty and a small note on his pillow. I reached over and looked at his neat cursive and felt a spark of silly jealousy, my chicken scratch would never be this nice. : Babe, I had some things that required my attention since I’ve been gone for a while. I looked around the space in awe, it was open concept and beautifully set up. There was a nice clean entranceway that opened up into a spacious living room with cream coloured couches, a navy blue coloured recliner chair, pale grey walls with one navy blue accent wall that was decorated with a collage, a large tv over an electric fireplace, and a huge window that overlooked the side of the house and it was a nice view. The kitchen was just to the side of the living room and it was amazing. The large stove, butcher block countertops, the stainless steel appliances and all the cabinetry were a nice navy blue colour with brass handles. It was to die for. I was so jealous of his kitchen and I knew Gram would have been for sure as well. I walked through the space and came to a home office that was decorated with shades of grey and cream and some navy accents like the curtains and a few comfy chairs on the other side of the black wood desk. It was a nice space but definitely masculine. I
