Maggie's POV.When Oma left to look for Kylie, I headed towards her room to check on Mauris and I was expecting to find her there but she wasn't there. Mauris POV.I opened my eyes to find myself in Oma's room, I had no idea what happened after my dad left me. I tried to turn but the pain in my sides wouldn't let me, the bandage on my chest had just been changed, I could feel it, it felt fresh and wasn't wet like last night. My throat burned, I am very thirsty. I looked beside me to check if Oma or the doctor or a maid had generously left a jug of water besides me, instead of just water, I found a whole breakfast set arranged in a tray. Pancakes with maple syrup, some fruits in a bowl and a glass of orange juice, a flower vase was carefully placed inside the tray along with the food. I sat up on the bed, resting my back against it, then I noticed Yara, fast asleep at the foot of the bed. She sat on a chair but her head, rested on the bed. I smiled at how relaxed and peaceful she looked right now. I pushed back the hair that had covered her face and tried not to make any noise as I ate my breakfast, she must have been here all night
