ERIS.

There was something about Ocean. I could tell the honesty coming from the sound of his voice. How he swore that he would never hurt me, and that was something he never had.

The ones he hurt the most was Mom and me.

He never cared about us, he valued himself more than anyone else, but Ocean was different.

The way he looked at me, the way he touched me, the way he listened to everything that I said.

I scribbled on my book, having no interest in what was going on, and what I had to write about. I just kept scribbling until I saw Rosie come in. She was quiet, she saw me, but didn’t say a word.

Her seat was in front of me, she sat there, and dropped her head on her desk immediately.

It was weird that she was being that way. I have never seen her quiet.

“What’s wrong with her?” Emma asked, and I didn’t know when she had sneaked up on me.

I shrugged.

She placed her hands on my desk and brought her face close to me. “Are you okay?”

“Yeah.”

  • The Alpha Stepbrother’s Temptation    One more night

OCEAN. When I saw her in that dress, looking so beautiful, the necklace that she wore made her look perfect. She didn’t object when I pulled her closer to my chest, and my hand was on her waistline, she didn’t pull away from me. She gave in to my touch, and this time, we both took the initiative, with the way she stared at me, and just how I stared at her. Our lips crashed against each other. Her hand went over my head, and her back was over the wall. My hands roamed over her body. “You looked so beautiful in that dress,” I whispered when I pulled away from her lips. “…and you wore the necklace that I got you.” That was the first thing I saw when she walked into the restaurant. And how she radiated the whole place when she came in. I had my eyes on the whole time she was there. I couldn’t seem to take them off. I wanted her, and I wanted her to want me as much as I wanted her to. I placed my hand on her face and smiled softly at her. “Can you take my dress off?”I nodded, a

ERIS. “… Vale called, she said she was back in the Pack. I didn’t want to come and show up like that, but I didn’t want to be rude and ignore her invitation. That’s why I had to come over for dinner. I would’ve stayed back, because I knew there was nothing I could use to cover up the bruises that were on my face, that I had almost been disfigured by someone here.” Kasper explained, he did all the extra talk that nobody asked him about but since it was him, and the first time he was being all chatty, they listened to every word that came out of his mouth. While I was still bewildered at his outburst. He was completely different from the Kasper I knew, calm, reserved, polite, respectful, and even his charm. He seemed to have lost it all. “He attacked me for no reason,” He added, and Ocean dropped his menu back on the table. “Is that so?” Alpha West asked, his voice going hard. “You go around hitting people for no reason!” “I didn’t just hit him.”“Is this how you have been behavin

  • The Alpha Stepbrother’s Temptation    Who is she?

OCEAN. The first thing I noticed when she opened the door was her eyes, which had gone soft. She wore a singlet, a shirt, and a pair of white socks. I held the door. Not saying a word to me, I didn’t know how I wanted to react, so I stood there like a pole. “I don’t think things could ever work out between us. You made me doubt everything that you said. You made me question every word.” “I’m sorry.” I lowered my head. “Just don’t push me away, Eris.” i didn’t expect her to put her arms around me. Her head rested on my chest and the tightening of my chest eased, and my wolf calmed. “I won’t ever hurt you, I won’t lay a finger on you either, I won’t ever do that to you,” I whispered while she held me. I was tempted to hold her closely to my chest. I wanted to have my arms around her. “I’m sorry about earlier.” She looked up at me. “I don’t want to spend the night alone.” “You won’t spend the night alone,” I remarked. “I called my mom, she didn’t pick up the phone, and I didn

  • The Alpha Stepbrother’s Temptation    Is this the end?

OCEAN. “Eris, please.”“No, Ocean!” She yelled. I could see the tears in her eyes. “Don’t tell me I was living in an illusion all this while!” “I…” She stared at my hand. There was blood stained on it and I tried to hide it behind me, but she already saw it. “I thought..” She paused, and the tears rolled down her cheek. She shook her head several times, and my chest felt heavy. “I can’t stand you right now, Ocean.” I felt the tightening in my chest, and I was finding it difficult to breathe. I held my hand on the wall, but she was gone. I went over to the restroom, I washed my hands while I stared at the mirror in front of me. I splash water over my face. I sighed and leaned against the wall. I lifted my hand and stared at it. I hated myself at that moment. I had never felt this way before. I had never regretted hitting someone, but I did. I wished I could’ve walked away from him, I wished I didn’t have to hit him. I waited for Eris at the car park after school hours, but sh

OCEAN. I woke up before Eris did. We slept on the couch. I had forgotten to turn off the TV. I stretched and grabbed my phone from the table. It was already past six in the morning. I had tons of messages from Flynn and Ronny. We were supposed to have a party last night, but I didn’t want to be there. I told them I wasn’t going home and wanted to go home. They probably thought it was a joke until I had left them and didn’t show up at the party. This was better than being with anyone. I didn’t want to be touched by anyone else if it wasn’t Eris. I just want her. I had to sneak off of the couch without waking her. I covered her with the blanket, and took the stairs to my room. I came out after a few minutes. I wanted to make breakfast, but Eris needed to be at school. She did need her attendance, which is quite compulsory because of the upcoming competition.I decided on an easy breakfast. Vale had a recipe pasted on the wall for some of the meals she cooked. I searched through i
