Mary’s pov

“Diosa mia, you look good.” Diego said when we walked to the car.

He walked behind me, so I’m guessing he was admiring my ass. I swayed my hips a bit extra, just to screw with his head a bit more.

It was like my body and my mind were on different pages, and it didn’t help that my wolf sided with my body. I always thought Beth would hate it if I felt something for someone who wasn’t my mate, but she didn’t seem to mind.

“Because all I want is what's right for you. You deserve to be happy, to have fun, and to feel wanted.
