Chapter 12: Whatever Job It Is!

We ate peacefully and luckily, I am still alive after finishing all the food on my plate. I didn’t waste time waiting for their explanation. After wiping my lips with the napkin, I looked up at them and asked.

“Tell me everything that you need to tell me,” I said.

Caled finished the water on his glass before he looked at me with a disbelieving expression in his eyes. “I can’t believe you’re too impatient now, Ginny.”

“I told you, I am not the same.”

“You are still the same in my eyes, Virginia,” Spencer winked.

Damn this guy is getting on my nerves! I am too impatient to get out of this table now and find a job that will pay our debts to them.

“So, what now?” I asked.

Caled was the one who cleared his throat and started to explain. “You are inside our pack, Ginny. And the three of us are the Alphas of this pack. As Alphas, we can protect you from werewolves living here. But you must own this, for them to know you are with us.”

Spencer stood up, holding a velvet box and strode h
