“MASON, GET OUT HERE!” My father yelled from the living room, I left my room to meet him, “Go get me a beer from the fridge, I’m exhausted and your brother is being a piece of shit!” “Yes sir,” I said before going to the fridge and grabbing one of the beers from his six-pack, “Here you go.” I handed him his beer before leaving to go back to my room to avoid his wrath as much as I could. Mason I woke up in the passenger seat of my Mom’s car as we made our way down the highway towards our new home. It had been months of work and frustration, but my mom was able to win a court case and get me out of my father’s home. Mason Once we had finished unloading everything from the trunk, my mom and Nate went out to go and grab something to eat for dinner, meanwhile, I was focused on organizing my room. Mason I got off the bus and walked toward the school as I took note of everything that met my eyes. Most notably was probably the answer to my question; As I approached the school I watched as a large group of students parted to make way for two others to get through, and I presumed they were the Gordon Twins. The pair walked like they owned the place, the brother wore a leather jacket over a plain white tee, with black jeans underneath, while his sister wore a Purple hoodie with gold letters that said “SPQR” on it with cargo pants. Jocelyn As our first class came to an end, my brother, Leo, and I walked out and towards my next class while I brought up the boy that sat next to me in class. Leo After the lovely conversation I had with my sister, I started to remember Astrid, and more specifically, why my sister had a vendetta against her. I didn’t like her at all still, due to our past with her, I just didn’t want to be anywhere near her; My sister, on the other hand, wanted to have her either banished from anywhere our Pack had influence, or fight her. "Thank you," I said as I got back up to my feet, "Now if you'll excuse me, I'd rather pretend this whole debacle ever went down." "Leaving so soon? We haven't even gotten your name though," The sister said as I tried to walk past them towards my next class, only for Leo to step in the way blocking my exit. "Why would you want to know my name? I'm nobody important and would like to keep it that way," I said as I looked up to meet Leo's gaze, "And I'd genuinely appreciate it if you moved so I could get to my next class." Leo stood there smirking at me as I tried to get past him again to get to my next class, his sister on the other hand tapped his shoulder and he moved to the side so I could head on to class.
