View MoreSpencer POV William brought me to the hospital to see Margot. Every step I took felt weaker than the last and the weight in my chest got heavier with every breath. Then, Williams steps stoped abruptly. There was a guard posted in front of the door, he bowed his head to William and eyed me with a mix of curiosity and suspicion. William nodded his head once, indicating that I was allowed to be here as the guard moved to the side letting us reach the door. William turned to me and did that this was where Margot was. My breathe caught in my throat, I was touched that he had someone stand guard to protect her in death. I took a shaky step towards the door, my grip on Williams hand tightened. Just as my hand touched that handle, William placed his hand over mine and gently pushed it down, opening the door to sweet Margot. My vision blurred a I saw her pale tiny form on the table. The sheet over her body and a pillow under her head gave the illusion that she was sleeping. I walked to her
William POV I walk into hotel lobby, two coffees in hand, waiting for Spencer to come down. I was dressed in my usual clothing but I had taken time while waiting in the coffee shop to make my hair look better. After the images earlier I didn’t want us seeing eachother to be awkward. The elevator pinged and the doors opened, my jaw hit the floor as I saw Spence. She was dressed in a flowy striped dress, showing all colours of the rainbow. We didn’t pick this up together and it isn’t something that Olive would have picked. “I hope you’re planning on changing, when I said Margot loved colour I meant bright not navy.” Spencer said with a stern look. “I was planning on changing when we got back home. Wanting your opinion on what would be best. Anyway, I thought that you might need a coffee.” I said raising my hand, offering her the coffee. Spence took the coffee from my hand, our fingertips grazing as the cup transferred from my hand into hers. Despite the touch being minute, the spa
William POV Ashton walked into the kitchen, yawning ash he waved good morning. His hair still tousled from a restless night sleep. Turning around I grabbed a mug and filled it with the dark amber liquid a live, otherwise known a coffee, before handing it to his outstretched hand. “Any update on why or how Daniel’s house was alight?” He asked as he finished his yawn “No, if there has been any new information it has not been passed along to me.” I replied with a shrug. “Have you managed to talk to Spencer about how and when to lay Margot to rest? People are asking and want to pay they respects.” Ashton asks between sips of coffee while taking a seat at the breakfast bench in the kitchen. “No, I haven’t rung her yet. I at least wanted her to have a peaceful morning before I ruined it.” I responded, not mentioning the text she had accidentally sent me that woke me up better than any caffeine could have. “Well its 11am now. Might be a good idea to call her and discuss arrang
Spencer POV Checking behind me every so often, ensuring that I was not being stalked, I followed the glimmering rope, using it as a guide. Praying that the Moon Goddess was not leading me astray, between the two building the alley led to a forest. Despite the trauma that I have associated with forests and woods, my heart was as steady as a drum. Leading me to believe that I was doing the right thing. The light led me to a well-worn path, indicating that it was usually heavily trafficked. However, due to the current time it was as empty as my heart after my mother passed. I continued to trust the Goddess path as well as trusting my gut, nothing felt strange, so I focused on the journey. As well as intermittently checking behind, ensuring that no one was lurking in the shadows. My phone beeped from within my bag, scaring me half to death. Taking another look around, I stopped walking and groped in my bag for the device. Once retrieved, I saw it was a message from Olive. ‘Hot dam
