LXIV. Bride and groom

Once Vladimir is feeling better, we leave the temple behind. When we are in the tunnel, where the cells are, Vladimir stops and looks at me.

"There is another female here. We have to save her."

Vlad is the one that looks for the female that Vladimir says, as we get out. Five minutes later Vlad appears with a small female that has tears in her eyes.

"Are you the bride of Kalipso?" I ask her.

She looks at me with scared eyes.

"It's OK. I will make sure you are reunited with him," I tell her.

"Thank you. I am Maite," she says.

"Elena."

After this, we get in the car. I am eager to get back to the pack and have the doctor check up on Vladimir.

In the car, I get with Vladimir in the back seat and put my head on his chest, and he wraps a hand around my shoulder. I listen to his heart, and it beats strongly. And I bask in his peach scent.

"Don't you ever die on me again. No matter what," I whisper to him.
