Ch. 6 Intruder

Damp earth, like the forest after a rain. A crackling fire, smokey and seductive. Their scents bleed into my consciousness, rousing me from sleep. That’s when it all comes flooding back. Last night, my shift, my wolf . . . them.

“Adira?” I reach out for my wolf. Was it even real or just a dream meant to torture me with everything I’ve ever wanted before it’s all ripped away?

“I’m here.” She purrs and a sense of relief washes through me.

A hard slab of muscles shifts underneath me and she purrs some more, obviously enamored with these hot as hell twins who claim we belong to them. I don’t blame her. Their words of praise, encouragement, and their soothing touches during our shift are things I’ll never forget. And when Adira finally stood before them, I swear they were as thrilled as any mates would be. I can’t help but let my mind drift back to that moment.

“Fuck. Me. You’re beautiful!” Aspen gasps as my wolf unfurls, shaking out her fur and bouncing excitedly on her p
