33. A Renewed Promise

Destiny stood outside Crystal's office door. She knocked and her mother answered.

"Destiny? Everything okay?"

Can we go out to lunch, please?"

"Of course. Let me put stuff away."

"Okay."

She waited for her mother in the hall and a few minutes later Crystal came out. She grabbed her by the arm and walked to town with her for lunch. When they get to town, Crystal asked her.

"Did he give the word?"

"Yes. Lunch and a fitting."

"I think a fitting and then lunch."

"Okay. Sounds good. What have been doing in your office?"

"Well, it's a vow renewal. I'm writing vows."

"Oh okay. Dad thought something was wrong."

"No. I'm keeping your secret."

"Not a secret anymore."

"Well, yes. Not anymore."
