“You're going there again?” Allan asked, hand slumping lazily around me while shifting half of his weight on me. We were already done with the patrol when we strolled the assembly hall.

I nodded, a victorious smile slipped on my lips. “Of course. I even obtained some useful information last night.” Though, the smile almost dropped as my mind traveled to the conversation I had with Emile.

He had almost exposed everything that had occurred within his family especially with Emma. And all I could do was listen. 

All of my emotions went feral that night. Imagining her sufferings had set scars in my chest. How could she go through all that without breaking herself? Or she might already have been from the very start?&n
