Chapter 78 - Newfound Fondness

He certainly wasn't as himself today.

"Now, who could this be?"

His tone was different, tenseful, urging me to tilt my head facing him. The blossom of redness once on my skin was almost forgotten, feeling the gentle air slowly slipping away, replaced by vigorous one.

His musk lavender scent filled my senses, though immensely more than before. If I were to have a say, it was almost like the time on the field, but not quite as strong to knock people out of their awakeness.

Yet, fervent enough to freeze any movement those he wanted to.

My brows knitted in confusion. To what occasion would he release it for? He would've noticed it long enough that it did little to no damage to my being.

Which I'm entirely sure he wouldn't hurt me in any way possible.

With how close I was to him as of now, my eyes could clearly perceive his fiercely vision. Knowingly stilled in the direction I had come from.
