Chapter 40

"Blade... Is she a-" I heard two voices talking inside our room when I was about to go in. It was Blade and his mother. They seem to be arguing over something that I don't know. I didn't mean to overhear their conversation. I didn't even know that his mother is here in the first place. I just wanted to rest, nothing more but I guess there's something that I need to know. There's this thing who's urging me to stay and listen to them even though I know it's not good for me to do this. 

I heard Blade cleared his throat before talking. "Yes, mom, but that's none of your business anymore" I peeked through the door because it is halfway open, is it me that they're talking about, or am I just really assuming things? I'm not that important to be a topic in a serious situation like this. Or is it because she doesn't like me for Blade? No... That should not happen and that will not happen. I know that. Blade already assured me things.
