CHAPTER 03

“I think I hit its bone,” Will said and tilted his head. His brows were moving with his tangled thoughts. He looked concerned yet still contemplating.

“Nah. No big deal. We will get it killed anyway as long as the Alpha arrives. So, piercing it lightly is no big deal.” Will could see the blood coming out from the skin of the creature he just mercilessly pierced with his long-needled syringe. Showing a little bit of mercy was not part of his system earlier. His goal was to subdue it. And he wasn't given a positive choice.

“Everyone! Try to check if it's really unconscious. Nobody wants to get scratches from this disgusting monster, right?” They all laugh while poking her with a piece of wood. She was being poked like a pile of shït or something.

“What do you think, Bro? This is no longer moving! Our Sir Will hit the spot!” yelled the huge bald guy. The one who puked like a little girl earlier.

Upon confirming that the target was fully down, they proceeded with the rest and began moving her.

“Everyone! Lift the net slowly. Make sure not to move its body that much.” With that being said, the five men who had the body of a giant took both ends of the net and started to move it away.

“Wa-wait! T-try to look at it closely,” said Will, who was the first one to check on her. He even leaned closer and closer. “This . . . This seems hu-human!” Will added in awe. The men around them began gathering and scrutinizing her too. They were too close like they didn't try to shoo her away earlier.

“What? Let me get through!” exclaimed the leader and made his way to the girl's unconscious body.

“What the . . . What exactly is this?” The man held his sword. Everyone started to move even closer like others did.

“From its structure. From the hair and face, it even has two breasts, and I think it's a genital! A—a girl! This is a human girl!” Will stumble on the ground. His face was somewhat showing both disgust and a bit of pitty. Pitty for the girl's private parts were nonchalantly exposed. And disgust still because of the smell.

“A-are you sure, Will?”

Will nodded. "Of course I am! I didn't study humans and medicine for nothing.” Will’s face was still twitching.

“Let's get her cleaned then. I can't tell if this girl came from the secluded pack. She might be a prisoner or what? But I bet someone will still look for her, because their Alpha is still alive. What a coward! Tie her up so we can rinse her in the river. Also give her something to wear. We wouldn't want to disgust the Alpha. Augh! It's rude to say this, but she really disgusted me,” the leader said while making the initiative look for spare clothing.

With the help of the net. They placed the girl in it and carried her into the nearest river. They tied both of her hands up and made her sit on a piece of wood they put together. Her feet are firmly tied together while being submerged in the clean running water. The girl was treated like she harbors a kind of contagious disease that needs a serious tending.

“Shït this! Her dirt didn't even come off! How are we supposed to clean her?” complained to the younger guy while taking another pail of water to pour on her. Then the other guy started to sprinkle her with some more water . . . hands hanging down acting defeated.

“This is insane! The dirt really won't come off!” said another one.

“You had better use your hand. It's taking our time already.”

“You dare use yours! Why me?”

“Oh! She still stinks! Come on, hand me that soap. That might help a bit.”

“No! I just made that one. It's only for the Alpha!” exclaimed Will, who was now protecting the little bottle.

“Just give it up, Will. We can hunt and find those ash shït you need to make a new one. Please do not make this anymore harder,” said the Leader with a pleading voice.

“Fine!” Will was like a healer and a trouble shooter to them. Some of them even think that Will was way too soft to be one of Alpha's men on the battlefield. Aside from his demure movements, Will is also a certified nature lover. People would think that he has the soul of a woman trapped in a man’s bulky body.

“See, this is working!” said the young warrior.

“Yeah. But that creature will finish all the soap that I made. And it's not even for her!” Will couldn't help but roll his eyes.

The three men continued to wash the girl, treating her like one of them and not a girl that needs gentle care. She's an enemy, but they need to show her to the Alpha for him to decide what to do with her next. The decision that would dictate her entire future.

The innocent girl wasn't even aware if she would live or die. For she was laying there, completely unaware of what's happening yet.

Moments have passed . . .

The girl's heavy lashes started to tremble. In a moment, she then feels an uncanny feeling in her body. Her body flinches whenever the coldness touches her frail structure. She was not used to the cold water that was pouring nonstop at her. Her skin is being mercilessly scrubbed without her consent. The constant unsolicited attention which she doesn't like any of it was trying to ruin her sanity. She was not even familiar with the feeling of being touched. Feeling the urge to stop it, she started to make a move; but her brows furrowed when she realized that she couldn't move her hands, even her feet. At most, she was beyond restrained, which alarmed her.

“I told you that you were going to empty this bottle! You know that we can't buy supplies until the end of the month. Now I must do it all over again!” Will complain as he poured the last drop of soap into his comrade's palm. He was absolutely furious because nobody could understand his labor of doing stuff his comrades couldn't even understand.

“I told you. We will find those things so you can make new ones. It's not even that hard.” The man was annoyed and tired, like he was just home from an outrageous war. “I would choose the battlefield more than this . . .” the man mumbles. He was doing things against his will. And it's draining him. Not even realizing that the part where he was scrubbing was now badly bleeding.

When the girl heard these noises, she quickly understood that she was being attacked or held captive. In addition to that, she could also feel the pain coming from almost every inch of her body. She had been badly injured before. But not as bad as her state right now. Because the pain that she was experiencing was trying to kill her.
