THE STRANGE DREAM

Alessia stared at him curiously and cautiously as her eyes drifted down to his ring which glittered through the sunlight.

" Nice ring. Where did you get it from? " She asked, curiously.

" It's a long story and I'm kinda stuck with it. Why do you ask? " Kane replied, looking down at the ring that was a reminder of his torment.

"No reason, it just looks familiar, that's all." Alessia replied, unable to take her eyes off it. Kane smiled a little, knowing that she was only partially telling him the truth.

Marcus stood behind a tree and watched as Kane and Alessia talked. He didn't want to be here, but when he saw Alessia leaving the office earlier his wolf forced him to follow her, wanting to be close to her again and now he was here and he could feel his wolf growing angry that Kane was anywhere near his mate.
