Months later...

It was almost a year since Nathan and Booke had been married. Things between them had their ups and downs. From time to time he would see Danielle on the way out of the company, with the same story about her having a child with her husband; Nathan had told her to ignore her.

Nathan was always giving her affection; she was fine with him. She was quite surprised that Booke was adjusting to him and to where they lived, but she also understood that her omega needed a change of life, because the one she was leading was not pretty at all.
