Chapter 17 - Stay or leave

Raphel was looking at her and something like fear lighted up in his eyes but disappeared too fast that Selene would be sure that this is what she saw.

He ran his hand through his hair, not really knowing what to say to speak her feelings. He knew that anyway he would have said it, would look bad. She was looking at a fixed point waiting for his answer. Finally, he decided to reply,

" I don't know. I really don't know."

She felt her heart break into a million pieces. She swallowed really hard and she was feeling like a headache would start to take over. She was so tired of trying to linge on something that was to be doomed. The feelings that she was having for him she was sure now it wasn't reciprocated. She took all the courage she could gather and said in a whisper,

"Leave."
