Even if someone would have shouted next to her, she couldn't have heard him or them. Her heart was pumping in her ears at the man standing in front of the window, absorbing all the sunlight. He looked like a vengeance angel that came to claim all that bad thing that was ever done. Selene was feeling her knees so weak that she decided to stay still before she would make a fool of herself.
