Chapter 6

"Ha!" I screamed and jumped off the bed.

I huddled against the wall of the room, scared, and still like I was frozen, staring at him.

Marcel Wolffinton's eyes were darker than the night and were so powerful that I felt like they were pulling me inside like a black hole to a place no one knew of but he. He sat so confidently on the bed like a god who knew there was no one above him. His hair was as dark as his eyes, darker than the night without the company of the moon. It was the darkest I'd ever seen anything that it terrified me. He didn't seem like a normal wolf. If there were ever a moon God, I'd say it was he who sat before me.

"You lay comfortably in my bed without my permission but refuse to reveal your face," he said, his voice thunderous as he slowly got off the bed. The mattress slowly rose as his weight left it, his long beautiful silky hair dancing against his shiny armor.
