Chapter 34

I was brought to a very large home. Each side of the building was surrounded by plants that gave me a feeling of still being within the woods. The building was painted brown. It gave me a warm earthy feeling. I was placed in a well-decorated room and the door was shut from the outside. I gently held my baby in my arms and took notice of my new surroundings. I already hated it there. I felt like I was back in my land, locked again in the Alpha's castle.

"Shh...," I hushed my baby as he began to cry. I slowly walked around the room rocking him gently, wanting him to be quiet. He didn't stop crying. I realized that I hadn't fed him since he was born. That must be the reason why he was miserable. I walked over to the bed, picked him up and gave him my breast. He hungrily suckled it.

"I'm sorry, my pup," I said softly over him as I watched him.

I felt such peace just gazing at him. He made me feel that everything was okay and that everything that had gone wrong in my life had never occu
