ログインChapter 5
Theron embraced the hug. With all the confusing feelings about his war advisor and bodyguard, he needed reassurance that he was still completely attracted to women. “I can tell that you miss me,” Lunara said to Theron, her voice heavy with seduction. Lunara did not stop at hugging Theron, she tiptoed on her feet so she could bury herself in Theron's neck and leave him with a hickey. Then she withdrew herself from him and said, “Now, everyone will know that you have a woman.” Maera watched the both of them with a mold ache in her chest, otherwise she did not care much. She watched as Lunara detached herself from Theron and turned to look at her. Lunara flashed a smile at her. “Who is he?” Lunara asked Theron, her eyes fixed on Maera. Maera cleared her throat, “I'll take my leave…” “You’re the new advisor,” Lunara’s smile stretched even more. She did not take her hands off Theron but she was staring at Mæra a little but too intently for Mæra to feel uncomfortable. “It is an honour to meet you, my lady,” Mæra tipped her head forward respectfully at Lunara. Lunara was pleased but she sensed that Theron was not too happy with the attention she was giving his war advisor. She held Theron's hand and pulled him towards the tent, “there's a lot we need to catch up on.” Mæra watched as the two of them disappeared into the tent. She sighed in mild relief. At first, she had thought Lunara had figured out she was a woman because of the way she would not stop looking at her. “You worry too much,” her wolf said softly, “no one will ever find out.” “I still need to be more careful,” Mæra responded, “if I get caught…” she allowed her thoughts to trail off. If she got caught, there would be no mercy, no chance to plead her case—she would be tried for fraud, identity theft, and even treason. “Look at all these cuts!” Mæra could hear Lunara coo at Theron. She heard Theron grunt but said nothing else. She refused to look at the car end of the tent where the two were seated, cozied against each other. “You don't deserve any of these bruises,” Lunara's sweet voice filtered into Mæra’s ears, “I'm going to blow on them.” Mæra cringed. It was impossible not to with all the sweet words flying about. She did not turn to look at them however. She kept her gaze focused on her shoes. But she envied Lunara a little. At least she had a close up view of Alpha Theron's incredibly sexy body. “Did I make it any better?” Mæra heard Lunara ask. “Of course, my love,” came Theron's response. Mæra looked up then, mostly out of shock. It was weird to hear Theron say a word like that. My Love? Seriously? Mæra shook her head but it was now impossible to just ignore the both of them. “I know what can make it even better,” Lunara whispered suggestively into Theron's ear. Theron grunted satisfactorily and looked up to catch officer Cael looking at him. He motioned with his eyes for Cael to excuse them which he did. Mæra stepped out of the tent but did not go far. Her duty was to protect Alpha Theron and so needed to keep close to him at all times especially when they were just miles away from where the enemies were camped. “Theron,” she could still hear Lunara’s voice as clear as day as the tent walls were very thin. “I want you to fuck me with the same energy you use in killing your enemies.” Lunara's words came out in a purr-like tone. Mæra blushed a little. She had to give Lunara credit for setting moods with just mere words. “If I fuck you that hard, can you handle it?” Maera heard Theron respond. She took a few steps away from the tent, hoping she was far away not to hear anymore of their presex conversation. “Maybe you should stay,” her wolf said, “gain some experience from all that talk.” “You're just insane,” she retorted. Her wolf laughed. “Not getting any action is frustrating, you know?” “Why the fuck do you care? We're living out our dream.” “Fuck me harder, Theron!” Mæra heard Lunara scream all of a sudden. She swallowed, trying to push away images of what position they might be locked in inside the tent. “You're a beast, Lunara!” “And you're a fucking monster! Put that big dick all in me. I want to feel you in my fucking womb!” purred Lunara loudly. Had they no shame? Mæra thought loudly. Their words were not just loud but she could also hear the way their bodies slammed into and against each other. What kind of hardcore sex were they into? “Baby, I'm coming… I'm coming,” she heard Theron moan. Mæra swallowed. An image of what Theron's face might look like at the peak of an orgasm flashed through her mind and it made her feel warm between her legs. “Put all that goodness in me,” she heard Lunara scream, “don't waste none of it.” She heard more panting and grunting as the two of them inside orgasmed. Mæra sighed in relief, hoping that it was all over now but suddenly she heard, “fuck me like your would ride a huge horse.” “Seems like you're going to be outside all night,” Mæra's wolf said to her. She sighed and looked for a hard rock to sit on. She found one and put her weight on it. About two hours later, Maera heard footsteps heading towards where she sat. She stood up and waited for the person to come out. It was Lunara. Her hair was all messed up and her eyes looked wider than Mæra remembered them to be. It was clear she had been properly fucked. “Officer Cael, is it?” Lunara batted her lashes at Mæra, making her slightly confused. “Yes.” “You know, I've got a lot of energy for my dainty frame,” Lunara said with a shrug. “I could be up all night and… but most men can't keep up with my energy.” The only thing that went through Mæra’s mind was why the fuck Lunara was telling her any of this. Lunara stepped closer to Mæra, “I'm sure you're a man who has all the energy in the world to keep him going.” Lunara’s eyes dropped to Mæra’s midsection. Mæra took a step back. She could not believe Lunara was actually flirting with her, especially with Theron just a few feet away from them in the tent. “I should return into the tent,” Mæra said, ignoring the cues Lunara was giving her, “will you be spending the rest of the night with him?” “Will you be up the rest of the night?” Lunara was not being subtle about it. She'd had a good fuck but since she had cast her eyes on officer Cael, she wanted to fuck him. “I will be up protecting the Alpha,” Mæra was very specific in her answer. She did not want to lead Lunara on in any way. “We can keep watch over him together,” Lunara said in a hushed whisper, “we'll take turns switching positions. What do you think about that?” Maera was amused to say the least. Lunara was definitely bold. The woman in front of her had no inhibitions about flirting at all. But other than the fact that Mæra had no interest in sleeping with her, it would also be very stupid to do so. Who would sleep with the Alpha's woman and expect there would be no consequences? If Theron had a way to skip the emergency council meeting that had been called by his Beta, he would have. He sat in the room at the head of the table, looking bored out of his mind. His eyes wandered lazily across the room before finally settling on Beta Gerald. “I do not see Commander Cael.”“Last time I checked, Alpha Theron, Commander Cael is not part of the council.” It was Lord Hamish that replied, his nose upturned in annoyance. He leaned forward, resting his body weight on his clasped palms. “He is not meant to be here except when summoned. You give the man too many privileges.”“I am starting to think I am giving you too many privileges,” hissed Theron, not backing down. His eyes flashed a red, angry color for the briefest of seconds as they bored into Hamish’s.Beta Gerald waved his hand in an attempt to relieve the room’s tension but it was futile. “It is about our war prisoner, but first, I should like to address the division on this council since the late Alpha Theron—God
“Cael is right,” Colin said, nodding his head.“And how do we do that without the council knowing?” Theron asked. He turned around to face them, his bare chest glistening with a bit of sweat. “We need secrecy.”“Cael and I will handle going into those districts to get men who will swear their loyalty,” said Ravvyne, looking among the group. “You and Colin should figure out a secret base where they can work. Away from the council… away from the palace, perhaps.”“Loyal men,” Theron shook his head. “Loyal guards who will not go to the council.”“If we can find three loyal men, ask them about their trustworthy friends? We can hire it out, can we not?” Cael asked.“I suppose you are right.”Theron looked at Ravvyne’s hand on Maera’s arm. He looked like he wanted to knock her hand away. He breathed in deeply, his nostrils flaring. “Let Colin go with you two; I will find men myself.”“Wait, why me?” Colin asked, looking up.“Because I need someone to make sure they don’t get themselves kill
She looked up with red, teary eyes to see Cael with a worried look plastered on his face. For a moment, she thought she saw guilt flash across the commander's face. “Whatever is the matter, my lady?” he asked.Goddess, he’s so gentle, Lunara thought to herself. She had never really had a man be gentle with her or even show affection. Cael was different. She could still remember her marriage ceremony to Theron, and how Cael had been there for her, noticing what Theron hadn't.“I am quite alright,” she lied, sniffling.Maera gave her a look of disbelief. She had heard the sobs from quite a distance, and then she came to investigate only to see Lunara spiraling. Guilt prodded her heart as she remembered the night before, with Theron kissing her… with Theron in her bed.Well, he’s your mate, Naya whispered. It doesn’t justify it. She pulled out a handkerchief from her pocket and carefully wiped Lunara's eyes and the snot around her nose, then held out a hand to her.“You should not be on
Lunara blinked back tears as she watched Theron shut the door, the sound of his footsteps receding with every step he took. She was torn between staying out and going after him, but eventually, she resigned to sinking into the velvet sheets draped across the bed.Theron was increasingly hard to please as the days went by. She kept wondering if it had something to do with the war months ago. He was now burdened by the war, or if he was just getting tired of her.Sleep evaded her despite the cool night air from the rain that pounded incessantly against the rooftops. She sat up and threw the sheets away, putting on her footwear and walking out the door. Her first thought was to look for Theron, to make sure he was safe, but what was even the point? Soon, she found her legs leading her to the dungeons, the cold wind sending her hair billowing out behind her. As she got to a corridor with the walls opening on one side, she shivered as splashes of water hit her bare skin. Finally, she was a
Maera hesitated.“Yes… I would.” Theron sighed and bit his lip, looking away. He slid further onto the bed and lay back, staring up at the ceiling. After a moment, Maera moved beside him and did the same. The rain hammered harder against the roof. The curtains floated in the wind ans while Maera knew rain waa making it’s way through the windows, she chose to ignore it “It is not because I do not want to,” she added quietly.Theron turned his head toward her.“Because this is… wrong?” he asked. “Because we are men?”Maera swallowed.“It is wrong,” she said carefully. “You are the Alpha. I am a commander.”Theron scoffed softly.“Wrong?” he murmured. “The Moon Goddess says you are the perfect match for me and somehow that is wrong?”Maera exhaled slowly.“You have a wife.”“If I didnt have a wife, would things be different.”“Again, you are the alpha. You need a wife who will birth a strong heir flr ypu. And you have to abide by the rules of the pack and tradition irrespective of if t
"He passed out," Maera commented, staring at the unmoving body of the boy she found. Still, but the sound of his shallow breathing was just the only indication he was still alive.Theron dropped the tongs, breathing hard. His tunic was soaked with sweat. "Lock him up. Put two guards on the door. No one goes in or out without my word.""Yes, Alpha," the guard said.Maera went back to the dungeon three hours later. That had to be enough time for the boy to regain his consciousness. She hadn't informed Alpha Theron that she was going there—she needed to do things her own way, her own method.Theron tended to act on his impulse and anger, and it often got him nowhere. She walked down the stairs. Her lamp cast shadows that were shaky against the walls. She reached the cell and noticed the guards were not there.A slight tremor of fear coiled in her stomach. She pulled her dagger and walked to the iron bars. She looked inside and saw the boy lying on the floor, his body twisted in an unnatu
Chapter 31Maera got down from her horse, her legs feeling really heavy as she strode across the ground. She had expected a lot more vigor from the enemy, but it seemed like they had expected less, so they didn't give it their all.Well, too bad for them.It hurt to breathe because her ribs were so
Maera turned to Theron. "I am going to the armory " she said."Can you ride a horse?" Theron asked her. He looked at her stomach, his eyes showing a flash of worry."I have to " Maera said. She walked out of the hall, her pace was quick even though her ribs hurt. She made her way to the level of th
Ravvyne stared at her for a long second, then nodded. She reached for the leather vest and started to pull the straps tight, her face set in a grim line.“Hurry on then. I shall join you later, I need to find oht some things,” lady Ravvyne said. The bells were still ringing when Maera reached the
“Rav was crying, Theron! I walked in and she was on the floor, looking like her heart had been ripped out or maybe she had been hit,” Colin yelled, his voice echoing off the stone walls. “What was I supposed to do? I saw him standing there and I just let go. I punched him in the stomach.”“You hit
