Chapter 14 Working with the president

I woke up to the smell of antiseptics and drugs which was overwhelming.

I scrunched my eyes at the bright light that was sipping through my closed eyelid. I slowly started blinking desperately, trying to open my eyes and see what was around me. Where am I? As the blinding light subsided, I slowly opened my eyes, squinting in an attempt to sharpen the blurred image before me.

I glanced around and took in the deserted pristine blue and white colour schemed room.

The room was silent apart from my heavy breathing and the beep sound coming from the IV monitor beside my bed. This was a hospital, and it didn't seem like any hospital room, it looked like a VIP ward, there was a flat screen tv and the room was well ventilated

I tried to figure out how I got here, and then it struck me, I was in the forest, and it seemed that I didn't die but I was saved from the feral wolf and I wondered who saved me.

The door opened and the person I saw made my heart skip a beat. I don't know why I felt glad
