He is back!!

Crystal's POV

I hurried out of the restaurant and flagged down a cab. My work shift was over for the day, so I headed to the university. I had got admission to study for a three-year course, and it was my last year at the university.

Those three years since the embarrassing incident between Logan and me happened were the most difficult ones. The result of that incident was the birth of my son, Aidan.

Our tragic one-night stand had led to me getting unexpectedly pregnant. I thought it was the end of my life then. My birth parents were very disappointed in me, not like they ever loved me.

Logan already hated me for being a filthy bitch, which I was not, and wanted nothing to do with me. The birth of Aidan brought nothing but shame to my family.

Life became hard for me, and I had no one to ask for help. However, my step-parents were still supportive.

After that horrible night, I never saw Logan again. I used to stand outside the restaurant waiting for him to come out from his castle, but at the end of the day, I would go home, disappointed.

He never showed up. We were having a baby because of the craziest night of our lives, and I wanted him to know. I wondered if he had forgotten about it?

Although I never forgot about the scenes from that night till the present day. I still remembered his caresses and every brief sensation he gave me.

I moved on with my life. I avoided men and nightclubs because they reminded me of the pain I endured during pregnancy and childbirth.

I considered my little Aidan as a reward and compensation for everything I went through.

He was three years old, but it was strange that he looked like a five-year-old.

Little Aidan was the best thing that had ever happened to me. His bright blue eyes remind me of Logan. His son had inherited his eyes.

Other features that intrigued me about him were his cute button nose and the two adorable dimples that appeared whenever he smiled. His bright smile could light up an entire room.

Those bright blue eyes always sparkled with intelligence.

What most excited me about him was his tousled blond hair, which made him even more handsome after the shower. And those chubby cheeks, aww!

I never regretted having Aidan. Even though I had to go through a rough time, I still considered him a blessing in disguise. The road was hard, but I was sure the destination would be splendid.

I walked into the halls of college with my shoulders held high. So what if I had a child at eighteen as a single mother? I cared less about my past and I would never let it ruin my future.

Judging by the state of my body, no one could tell I was the mother of a three-year-old. The only people who knew about my son's existence were my step-parents, my actual parents, and a few people at my workplace.

I thought it was best to keep it a secret. I wanted to forget about Logan and find a suitable life partner who would accept Aidan.

My mind only thought that way when I was away from home. As soon as I entered and Aidan ran into my arms, the first name that popped into my head was Logan.

I could not understand it. We never had an actual relationship. It was just a one-night stand, so why was I unable to forget about him? Even the three long years without him had not been enough to erase those few memories I had of him. I still thought about the night we spent and the indescribable feeling that consumed me that night.

However, I was still angry with him. As much as I thought about him, I  could not forgive him for the way he treated me that morning.

How could he accuse me of seduction? Yes, I made the first move by touching his cheeks and initiating the kiss, which I still could not explain why? But that did not mean I seduced him.

He took one step further to be intimate with me in his own free will. I remembered the emotions in his eyes. But maybe he was just drunk.

Whatever was the excuse, I had not forgiven him for questioning my character and calling me a seductress.

He considered me a cheap girl who had thrown herself at him for his money. Yes, I had been stalking him, but only because I wanted answers.

I wanted to know why my heart fluttered when I saw him?

I wanted to know why my body shuddered at his touch?

I wanted to know why his eyes did strange things to my body? That was all I wanted to know. Nothing more!

"Look who's late again?" a voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

I did not have to turn around to know the person's identity. I knew it was Rhea, the only close friend I had in college.

"Hey Rhea, where's everyone running to?" I asked, as I noticed all the students running hurriedly. They were heading toward the great hall.

"Oh! The principal just made an announcement. There is a guest at the school who wants to meet us, so everyone is rushing. Let's go to the great hall," she explained.

"A guest?" I was curious. We hardly ever had important guests.

"Yes, I heard he's a very rich and influential man, a high-level VIP." Rhea gave me all the information she knew.

I did not take her too seriously, as I knew she was very good at exaggerating things.

"And why is this high-level VIP guest here?" I asked, with a hint of sarcasm in my tone.

"That's what we're going to find out. Walk faster so we can get a front row. You know how I like to be around rich men."

"Yes, I do," I replied and laughed. Rhea liked all the rich men.

We hurried into the great hall. It was the largest hall in the university, with long metal benches that could hold at least ten people arranged in rows. The hall was painted yellow and there were air conditioners mounted in the corners.

There were fluorescent lights all over the ceiling, making the place glow. It had no windows, but it had two entrances.

The first entrance was the general entrance for students, while the second led to the teachers' lounge. The teachers entered from that side.

The influx of students crowded the hall, but the principal soon arrived to control the noise.

From the look on the bald man's face, I could tell that he was either scared or had a lot of respect for the guest and that increased my eagerness to meet him.

Who was the VIP guest who had caused a lot of tension in the atmosphere even before his arrival?

Most of the teachers had taken their seats as they waited patiently for the principal to make the announcement.

I did not know why, but I suddenly became nervous. My heart raced, and I kept hearing a strange voice in my head. I could not understand what the voice was trying to tell me, but whatever it was, it made me more anxious.

Oh! Suddenly, a realization dawned on me. I knew that feeling. I had not felt that way in three long years. Why did it come back then? Did it have something to do with that VIP guest?

My eyes roamed around in search of him, but I did not see anyone I was not familiar with before. So where was that VIP guest?

"Crystal, you're sweating," Rhea said and handed me her handkerchief.

I did not notice. I was sweating. But why? There was air conditioning in the hall and I was sweating. I thought I had already gotten over that feeling. Could it be...?

"Good morning, everyone. Today we have a very special guest among us, the current CEO of the Stewart group of companies..."

The director was still giving his introduction when my phone rang.

It was a message from mommy, telling me that little Aidan was crying non-stop.

I forgot to fix his lunch before I left. But I already called Mary to do that, so why was he crying then?

"Mr. Logan Stewart!" I heard the principal introduce the VIP guest.

Although that name rang a bell, I was still busy responding to my stepmom's text message, so I did not have time to think it through at first.

"Good morning, everyone." I suddenly froze and got goosebumps all over my body. That voice!

I looked up and was stunned to see those blue eyes. It was him, my baby's father.

My heart skipped a beat. He suddenly looked towards me and my heart stopped!
