ALEXIA “Wow, you look hot.” Raven remarked as I emerged from my bedroom. “Tell me, are you dressed for a certain someone?” I blushed, looking down at the lacy black dress I was wearing, like it was my first time noticing it. ALEXIA Walking down the mall aisle with Killian, I looked at him from the coroner of my eyes. Half resting on the shopping cart, as he pushed it along. He stopped when I did, leaning over to check the next item on the list. He was oddly invested, causing me to wonder if he had ever done it before. Turning my full attention on him, I watched him silently. Guilt stirred up inside me when I realized I hadn't asked him how he was doing. He was in isolation for six months with no contact with any of us—as far as I can tell. Zeke said the assassins could be anyone, therefore Alpha Damon cut off all forms of communication with him. ALEXIA No sooner than I entered my room, a knock came through the door. Storming my feet all the way to the door, I adjusted my facial expression before I opened the door. Raven stood on the other side, her hands fisted into her pocket. “The head of house wants us downstairs for a dorm meeting.” She informed me. “Couldn’t they email whatever they have to say to us?” Jinx groaned, dragging herself through the lounge, she missed the entrance like twice already. I didn’t blame her though. If I had fall into bed before Raven came knocking, then I’d be dragging myself across the room like a zombie. “Give me a mintue to wash my face, I just came back from class and from Leo’s tryouts.” I shut the door, letting out a groan. “And yes, he made the team, if anyone is interested.” I got two week ‘yay’ back. ALEXIA My first lecture on campus wasn’t so bad, except that Killian was back at the forefront of my mind. It had taken a lot to even fall asleep last night as I kept replaying the hug we shared over and over in my head. A part of me wished he would be the same Killian from high school. You know, the one that hated me and avoided me? But this new Killian, I don’t know how to deal with him or us, and it’s stressing me a great deal. Exiting the building, I shut my eyes briefly, enjoying the wind in my face and hair. KILLIAN As my skin starts to burn, I knew then that I was going to fucking pass out. Wrenching myself away from her, with my breath laboured and bent over like someone about to throw up. ALEXIA “Whoa…” was the first thing out of my mouth when we stepped into the third floor dorm room. Where I will be living for the next months, at least until I go home for the holidays. Eclipse itself is huge, the school building being a literal modern castle. There’s a mini estate inside the huge landscape that primarily consists of living arrangements. Like boys quarters housing provided for teachers, it stood separately from the students living quarters. Back when we took a tour on campus-day, my eyes had remained wide during the whole tour. Raven had joked that if they expanded any larger, they might pop.
