INICIAR SESIÓNALLISON
“So, tell me, do you like your new room?” Alpha Lazar inquired over dinner. We were currently sitting in the dining room, waiting for the maids to bring our meals. “If you don't, I can ask the maids to arrange another one for you. There are countless empty rooms in this house. Including the clothes. I have no idea what your size was. I only gave them an estimated size so they could get them, so if they're not your size, I can have them get new ones for you.” Hearing him say those words brought a smile to my face. I mean he specifically prepared everything for me. The rooms, the clothes, the interior decoration, everything. They were all specially prepared for me. By him. That was so thoughtful of him. No one has ever had my best interest at heart. It almost made me tear up. I reached for his hands and gave it a gentle squeeze. “It is perfect, Lazar. I love everything. The interior decorations, the clothes, everything. I love them. And knowing you specially prepared them for me, it gladdens my heart.” “I'm glad you love them.” He added with a sigh. Now, the room settled into a comfortable silence, but I had this sudden urge to ask him about Helen's words. If he truly has a fiance, I don't think there should be any reason I should be here, especially as this fiance in question was selected by his father. If she gets back and sees another woman in his life, she clearly won't be happy. I wouldn't be happy either. I'll love to see who this lady is, especially judging by the way Helen had described her. I mean women rarely complement each other without feeling insecure. But before I could say anything, the maids walked into the dining room, each holding a large tray in their hand. They arranged them neatly on the table. Deep down, I was grateful for their interruption. I was already on edge, thanks to the argument with Helen earlier. That lady doesn't like me and she won't be up to any good. Therefore I need to stay away from her as much as I can. “Enjoy your meal, Alpha.” The maids bowed their heads in greeting. “Where is Helen? And why is my mate's meal not here too?” “Oh it's here, your Majesty. I sincerely apologize for being late. I had to make sure the Queen's meal was perfect.” Helen announced as she came into the dining room carrying my dinner; a bowl piled high with pasta and a rich red sauce. As she reached the edge of the table, her hand suddenly seemed to slip. The bowl tilted, and the entire contents; sauce, pasta, and all, slid right off the edge and splattered across the front of my white silk pajamas. A gasp caught in my throat. My mate, Alpha Lazar, jumped up immediately, his face turning dark red with anger. “Helen! What the hell was that?” His voice came out in a low rumble. Helen looked genuinely startled, maybe even panicked, as she mumbled, “I am so sorry, sir! I slipped, I truly did!” She knelt down on the floor. She turned to face me. "I am really sorry, my Luna. I was careless. Please forgive me." I stared down at the mess on my chest. I couldn't tell if this was an accident or her petty way of getting back at me. Given our earlier fight, I couldn’t tell if the wide-eyed look was fake or real. Alpha Lazar didn't hesitate. He pointed a shaking finger at her. “You clumsy, insolent fool! Get out! You’re fired! I’ll make sure you never....” “No, Lazar, stop!” I cut him off quickly, stepping forward and putting a hand on his arm. The silk felt cold and sticky beneath the sauce. “It’s okay. It was a mistake. She clearly just slipped. Please, leave her alone.” I didn't want to start my new life by getting someone fired over something that might have been an accident. Plus, making a huge scene felt beneath me. Alpha Lazar glared at Helen, then back at me, clearly fighting his temper. I don't know how dangerous and scary an Alpha can get once he's angry, but from what I've read, their anger cannot be described. “Fine. Helen get the fuck out of my sight. Now. And don’t touch another dish today.” Helen nodded quickly and hurried out of the room like an obedient puppy. “I'll be right back, Alpha. I need to change,” I sighed, already walking toward the main staircase. How can she be so careless? I thought as I stared down at the clothes. Even though she was pretending that it was an accident, I could tell that it wasn't. She did it intentionally. Probably to spite me or something. How ridiculous! She's just meeting me for the first time and she already hates me. I was halfway up the second flight of stairs when I heard soft footsteps behind me. I stopped and turned just as Helen reached the landing. She didn't look panicked anymore. Her eyes were hard, and a chillingly flat look had replaced the apology on her face. My guess was right. She did it intentionally. She leaned in, keeping her voice just above a whisper so low only I could hear. “Don’t think for a second that was an accident bitch,” She hissed, her voice laced with venom. “This is just the beginning. I will frustrate you every single day until you are miserable enough to give up and leave him. You are not wanted in this house. This is his house, not yours. He has a fiance and they're in love with each other. Just go back where you came from.” “Aren't you scared that I'll tell Alpha Lazar what you just said, that it wasn't an accident, huh?" I folded my hands across my chest. “Who do you think he's gonna believe, woman?” “Me.” I gave a curt response, because that's nothing but the truth. He'll definitely believe me over her. “Keep dreaming, my dear. He won't believe you.” She giggled. “Oh and by the way, I plan to keep spilling all the dishes on you. So get ready for me.” She straightened up, gave me a sickeningly sweet, fake smile, and walked quickly past me down the hallway, leaving me standing on the stairs, frozen. I must say she's really got some nerves.LAZAR “Who's the new girl, Alpha?” My Gamma, Mason asked me. I tore my eyes away from the laptop and traced it to see what or who he's staring at. My eyes landed on my mate. She was curled up on the mini couch in the balcony. Her legs were tucked under her, wrapped in one of the blue throw blankets. My eyes just stayed fixed on her. She had a paperback open, and man, was she ever locked in. You could tell by the way her head was tilted slightly and her eyes didn’t move at all that she was gone. Completely lost in the book, not worried about me or what the Pack has to say about her. She has her whole mind on the words of the page. Her red hair was pulled back in a simple messy bun. The way she always does it when she’s really focusing. It looked soft, and I felt that familiar warmth spread through my chest.I reached for the coffee on the table and took a long drink from it, just watching her breath. And then I smiled. Not a big laugh or anything, just a deep-in-the-gut feeling o
ALLISON It's been two days since I stepped foot in the Pack House and I must say it's been the best time of my life. Other than the maids, Lazar and Marcus have been treating me well. And with respect. They didn't care that I was a human. They treated me with care. Lazar was patient. He answers my question without acting like I was a burden. And sometimes it brings tears to my eyes, to know that someone doesn't see me as a burden, but instead as an important figure in his life that deserves all the love in the world. Another shocking realization is that I wasn't shy around him. Yes, I know how other ladies would have been shy around him, but that wasn't the case here. I felt safe around him. Protected. Since I was bored, I decided to take a stroll around the mansion. On my way, I bumped into the same old lady that had brought my breakfast to my room. I must say she's the only sweet maid here. The other maids only treat me well when Alpha Lazar is there. But if he isn't, they go ba

ALLISON “Our Alpha has a fiance. And trust me, she's beautiful. She's strong. She was specifically selected by the Alpha's father, the former Alpha Darius.” She continued. “But you don't have to worry about it. She's not here yet. So you can enjoy this while it lasts.” She scoffed. “Or maybe not, human.”I pretended not to notice the tone in which she said the last word. She doesn't like me. It was evident with the way she was staring at me. It's not like I care.“Thank you for the information by the way, Miss Helen.” I feigned a smile at her. “You shouldn't worry about me. I'll definitely take my time until Alpha Lazar's beautiful mate arrives. I can't possibly miss this opportunity, can I?” From the way her eyes darkened with anger, I could tell she wasn't expecting my words. “For a weak human, you've got some guts.”“Oh, did you really just say that? How adorable.” “Stop acting all high and mighty, you rude bitch. You may be the Alpha's mate, but trust me he has a fiance, one he
ALLISON “This is your new home now.” Alpha Lazar said to me as soon as the car came to a stop. I stared out of the window to see a house that dwarfed everything I've ever seen. It was just huge. Not just tall, but endlessly wide, built from pale stone that looked expensive and impossibly clean. It felt less like a home and more like an entire government building. Enormous and cold. Everything about it whispered, "Wealth and prosperity” if that makes any sense. The grounds were too perfect. We drove past giant patches of lawn where huge, dark stone statues stood scattered around, like silent, carved bodyguards. I couldn't tell if they were people or animals, but they were definitely watching.“My home?”“Yes, Allie. Welcome to the Pack House. You'll be living here from now on.” He answered. “Wow!” The words left my lips before I could stop them. “This is beautiful.” I've always imagined what it'll feel like to live in a new house, so long as it wasn't the dark room that I've been
ALLISON “Thank you for saving me.” I said to Lazar as he walked into the ward. In his hands was a wrapped box. And at once glance, I knew what it was. Fruits. How thoughtful of him. “You are welcome, Allison.” He flashed a warm smile at me. “How are you feeling today?”“I'm… I'm better.” I replied truthfully. Honestly, I have no idea what the doctor had done to me, or what drugs he had given me, but one thing I couldn't deny was that it was effective. I felt better than I've ever felt in a long while. The discomfort and pain I felt in between my legs were gone. The injuries on my body were healing fast too. “That's good to know, Allison.” He took his glasses off and placed them on the table beside him. “I'm glad you're okay. You'll have to remain here until you recover fully.” I was relieved to know that. I haven't figured out what to do with my life as soon as I'm discharged. I have nowhere to go, except my father's house. And with the ugly memories the house holds for me, it's
