Chapter 25-Mayas POV

I woke up startled by that same dream but this time, it was different. I could see her more clearly now… my mother. She looked exhausted and tired, yet still carried herself with the grace of a queen. Her long silver hair shimmered softly as she leaned closer, whispering something to me, but I couldn’t make out the words.

Then, out of nowhere, a witch appeared behind her the same one from before. The moment her eyes met mine, she started chasing me. I ran through what felt like an endless fog, my heart pounding. That witch… she looked familiar, but I couldn’t remember where I had seen her. Just as her shadow reached me, I jolted awake, my breath ragged .

Liam was sitting beside me, worry etched across his face. “You’ve been dreaming again,” he said softly. “Was it another nightmare?”

“Kind of,” I replied, still catching my breath. “It was about my mum.”

He sighed gently and pulled me into a comforting hug. “You’ll find her, Maya. I know you will.”
