Alpha Daniel’s POV Adela took out candles, herbs, and all the other accoutrements necessary to create a circle, before seating herself on her mat. She lit them with the match in one of her many vials and began chanting, eyes closed and voice calm. Her chant was ancient in origin and spoke about a time when it had been possible to create life. I stood by the side watching as soon she switched and began to chant in an unfamiliar language. Aurora’s POV The lights were too bright, almost blinding that I had to squint against it. But then again that might also be because my entire world seemed to be a blur. Alpha Daniel was yet to find out more about the people who attacked me but I had seen how hard he was working. These days he has been checking up on me like he had promised and I have been trying to keep my distance. It was hard, very hard, there were times when I almost told him that I was in love with him but somehow I held myself back...I think it took everything in me to not tell him that.
