Chapter 13

Aurora’s POV

Today I woke up with a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach and it refused to go away. The hair on my arms stood in a very weird way as though they were trying to tell me something, but for the life of me, I can’t figure out what that might be. My eyes are blurry from lack of sleep and I feel like I haven’t showered in weeks because that is just how much my skin feels like shit.

Something was wrong and it was only I and Sia who could feel it because she was rolling inside of me, causing beads of sweat to form across my forehead, leaving a trail down my face. She whined softly, pushing against my chest. I opened my mouth but the only sound that came out was a groan.

Everything looked great on the surface, the same, nothing seemed out of place or different. Everything seemed normal except the sick feelings that I had, and those weren’t even symptoms of sickness per say. There was just something off about this day, something that wasn’t right… but I couldn’t put my finge
