Alpha Daniel's POV

The drive to Adela’s house on the hilltop took longer than I had imagined and at some point, I had to park my car by the roads that were rocky and inaccessible if I kept using the car.

Her house stood alone on the hilltop surrounded by trees. It had structures like those old buildings 

I read about it in books, which you could never find but you saw pictures of online. The only thing out of place was a giant statue that gave me creeps. 

When I knocked, there was no sign of her or anyone at home.
